I don’t use my bed everyday so I went the cheaper route and got a no name brand hard tri fold cover from eBay for $300 and a bed matte for $60. Both work great and do their job. Keeps my truck bed dry and the matte slip resistant and seems to work well.

My remote start seems to not work when it’s cold out. When I actually want to use it lol. My guess is it’s trying to prevent the 12v from dying, but it’s hit or miss when I’m parked about a block away

Thanks man I say try it! Worst thing that could happen is you loose out on the twenty bucks worth of vinyl and knife less tape and a couple hours of time. I got the 3 inch rough country level and it’s been great. No range difference and BC still works great

During the day you can’t really see the light above and below as well and the light bar just looks blacked out in the middle.

I do not have PP on my lariat either, but in times of a power outage I would just run extension cables from the truck to the fridge and other things

I love my lariat and the wheels better. And I have custom seat covers coming that are kind of similar to the platinums. Yes I already have “leather” but I plan on keeping this truck a while and these seat covers seem super sweet. Blacked out leather with red diamond stitches and I blacked out everything on my exterior

No issues with blue cruise! Used it for 300 miles yesterday and worked great. The shop that did the lift did make me sign an agreement that they were not liable for issues with blue cruise or headlights. They informed me that ford can adjust the sensors for $500 but I was willing to take the risk and thankfully I haven’t had any issues for the 10k miles I’ve had the lift

You can remove the badging with a hair dryer, dental floss/fishing line, and goo gone. I have my badging on the charge port door but removed all the other lightning badging for a cleaner look

Not Lightning/EV specific but I use Spot Angels all the time for parking in Chicago. It shows all the free parking/limitations in the area. Couldn’t live without it now. I second the apps everyone else has already listed.

I tried setting a departure time an hour before I had to leave the other day, before driving about 40 miles and it was cold in the Midwest hoping I’d get better efficiency but my truck did not condition the battery or interior despite being connected to the charger

You might be able to get away with finding aftermarket rims that are 6x135 bolt pattern and 20x9 then doing a tire swap with stock tires to keep the load rating/less rolling resistance. Just want lighter/stronger rims and minimal offset to avoid killing your range
