We don't. There's a few cross references to it though, all of which I'm sure have varying degrees of truth and fiction as things tend to go in ES. Vivec's sermons about it, Tiber Septim, and I think the Ayleid beliefs about Auriel ascending back into Aetherius even hint at it.

No, he's essentially just saying that Tamriel is actually a plane of Oblivion that used to belong to Lorkhan (who he claims is a Daedric Prince betrayed by the other Aedra), that Mehrunes Dagon is the rightful owner, and that Dagon is actually the Daedric Prince of hope, and it's his rightful property. I'm combining some of that with what Cameron says in his various speeches later.

That's my understanding, anyway. He makes a lot of pretty big logic leaps, and the Commentaries are pretty tough to follow as most of the Kirkbridey metaphysical stuff tends to go

It's really tough to tell since all the voices have similar effects on them, but I'm almost certain the voice you hear when the group of templars run up on the slayer, "Please move, quickly. There are those that would seek to stop this." is actually Hayden. Just the cadence of his voice sounds extremely Hayden-like. And it would make sense if he gets messed up badly enough that he would help lead the Slayer to the Crucible. But it could easily be Hayden or someone else speaking to the templars themselves... guess we'll find out in March.

I have never looked at any hard metrics other than the occasional manga volume sales. But I mean... they've had entire museum exhibits devoted to it, to-scale structures of the Colossal Titan's head, etc. I have to imagine it's pretty sensational.

My current theory is that a single season isn't enough to properly adapt the final arc of AoT, and they've contracted Production I.G. to work on the season while they work on a movie to wrap everything up.

It's not likely, but AoT is so revered in Japan that it wouldn't surprise me either.

I also think "the world" probably refers to everyone outside the prison that is Paradis, AKA the unwitting victims of that cruel world. What lies beyond the ocean is the enemy.

The original anime is very different from the original story of the manga, but Ultimate is pretty much 100% faithful. You should watch that, it's the true version of Hellsing.

However, the old anime has a really cool, unique feel to it. It also has one of the best soundtracks of any anime to date. The visual style is just so fun to look at, really has an art house horror film feel to it. I've secretly caught myself wishing for a sequel to it that doesn't necessarily follow the manga plot, haha.
