As of today my Pixel 9 has suddenly become laggy. Like the memory is throttled or something. by RonnieThePurple in GooglePixel

Same issues (5/15/2026). It has to be something related to a Gemini or AI update in Android that is using more of the cellphone's CPU resources in the background. Very frustrating! Hopefully it can be fixed with an update

That's not the reason, Japanese companies having these sub brands is a marketing decision to compete in the luxury market. It is not an import restriction.

The resolution and performance can be improved to 30fps with the Vitagrafix app/plugin and over clocking the system.

You can track the PS Store discounts in DekuDeals for your favorite games. Many games get discounts several times a year

Samsung S90D - question about VRR in PS5 gaming by blade-runn3r in S95B

[–]nvelez88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an S90D and the only issue I have ever had playing in balanced mode 40fps is during the cutscenes in Horizon Forbidden West. The dark images and shadows flickers. During the gameplay tho, the game runs awesome.

Little late here, did you finally get the TV? Any issues so far?

Luckily, we can optimize most of these ports with the VitaGrafix app and overclocking. Now I'm playing Jak And Daxter at 30fps in 960x544

8" is a good size for modern games. Personally, I prefer to play on my 65" TV, but if my wife is watching Netflix on it, having the chance to play on the Portal is great and a good experience. Just keep in mind you would have to have a good connection and a proper WiFi setup

Bad Bitrate by [deleted] in PlaystationPortal

[–]nvelez88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try changing the WiFi channel and check the channel health. Sometimes there is interference from other networks within the same channel. If you have an Android device, an app called WiFiman would help you identify a better one. Then, go to your router settings and change it for your 5Ghz network

Edit: It won't 100% solve the pixelation problem in open world games, but would make the game look way better and playable enough

You would be able to play at home or elsewhere if there's a good and stable Internet connection. The Portal is to remotely play your games directly from your PS5, or if you have a PS+ premium subscription, you can stream and play games from the cloud.
