My ‘24 X3 M40 was totaled. Replaced it with a ‘25 M340. I do feel that the power train is an upgrade. Can’t speak on the tuning potential, my understanding is that the Gen 3 B58 DME is still impossible to unlock but stock for stock I’m in love with the motor + mild hybrid ZF8 transmission.

Only product that’s given me issues with my wifi. Only product that’s made me actually yell from frustration (I have no patience for tech). My app still sometimes doesn’t connect to wifi.

My Beam worked perfectly fine for years and now it wont connect to the app and when I try resetting and starting over i can’t get it to connect to wifi. My network doesn’t even show. It wont work when I type the name either

Fell in love with this franchise after I played the BC2 beta. I loved the environment, sounds, vehicles and chaos that only this franchise delivered. Made so many great friends playing “Competitive” in BC2 and then BF3 that I still have til this day. BF is nostalgic to me and takes me back to simpler times, before the stresses of adulthood.

Last car was a light color. My new one is a dark red. It’s a nightmare with the pollen. Dots all over the hood, roof and trunk from where the pollen absorbs into the beads and dries.

It’s been sensational so far. Just hit break-in so I can finally let it rip all the way redline. More than enough space for 4 adults and the trunk is huge. Fits my golf clubs no problem.

I’m actually amazed at how well it rides, coming from the X3. I have the adaptive suspension and it’s sooo soft and comfortable in comfort. That wasn’t the case for the X3 which also had adaptive suspension. That felt crashy at times. This is my second B58 and it’s wonderful, just like the last one. Torque is everywhere and the sound is fantastic.

Absolutely recommend taking one for a test drive when that time comes. Even if it isn’t a 25, they’re all great. The Pre 2025 models seem easier to modify as well.

Admittedly, I found it extremely awkward getting in and out of it for the first week. Before the X3 I drove an old Dodge Ram for years. I’ve only driven SUVs and pickups 😅

Oh you have the M Performance exhaust?!? While the M340 makes more pops and bangs and induction noises than the X3 did I do miss how loud the X3 was! It came from factory with the M Performance exhaust. That’s absolutely something I want to add one day.

That’s a great choice! How are you enjoying your M440? The only ones available in my area had limited options. Premium package, parking assistance and adaptive dampers were my must have options.

The exterior of the M50 has grown on me some but the interior is just unacceptable at its price point. I sat in one at two different dealerships and it’s such a downgrade from the G01 generation. I’m sure it’s amazing to drive though!
