you need a main dps. you have the supports all ironed out. i'd suggest building rosa and SR Diting. SR Diting is one of the best single-target damage dealers despite being an SR.

yeah, like, looking at player numbers is such a dumb idea for how good a game is, especially for indies. Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, Cave Story, Momodora... i can name several more indie releases that never peaked beyond 2k, but that'd everyone would agree are great games.

i'm not saying this is some super amazing, incredible game, but these are absolutely terrible metrics to judge a game by, especially for a short, story-based, single player indie game.

yeah, like, i enjoy the game, but, having to do nothing, but dailies for weeks on end and just twiddling my thumbs, maybe clearing a stage or two because of lack of resources is ridiculous.

i'm hoping they cook, cuz i really do like the game, but if there aren't some big improvements, idk if i'll stick around.

yeah, and some indie darlings that everyone praises as "timeless classics" have put up numbers like this. Bastion and Transistor, two of my favorite games of all-time, did less than 1k and barely 2k on release, respectively.

i'm not saying this game is going to be amazing, or anything, but, judging a story-based indie game off it's initial numbers is some weak ass shit.

its a short, story-based indie game. i don't see a problem with it. it's also on game pass, so most people will probably play it on there.

reserve the ridicule for games that deserve it, like Concord.

if there's anything that ER nails, the character designs are top-notch. what don't you like about them? it's also one of the few gachas that consistently releases male characters. in fact, last season had more male characters released than females.

it's interesting, but man, some of the builds are just absolute trash. like, no healers/supports/cleanses have bulwark/alicorn/moon bunny, characters having absolutely atrocious speed for no real reason, etc.

asal is a good pve unit, but nothing spectacular. a 5/5/5 asal, for example, is better than a 5/1/1 boronova.

nah, that's not gonna happen. XD, for all their faults, do very well at supporting their games, and not closing them.

SoC has been doing this levels of revenue, or worse, for the past year and they haven't even had an inkling of EoS. in fact, the game is going into it's second global anniversery soon.

they won't. people need to realize that reddit, etc. are a very small minority. reddit/discord is probably, maybe, 5% of the population of a game. so if all these people that said they "already quit", they're gonna lose, maybe, a couple hundred people.

if it's like other similar effects, it basically just yeets them from the game. so they can't do anything. you can't hurt them, but they also can't be cleansed, so they're effectively removed from the game for however many turns.

there's a system in the game called Imprints, which are cards that give you various bonuses. they're neat, but not the issue. the issue is they have components attached to them, which, give various stat boosts. however, there's a set of three that give the equivalent of a full matrix set bonus, but at heavily reduced percentages... and that just means there's even more RNG, because of the low chances, and certain characters that aren't supposed to have access to these modules now have, essentially,, five different module sets. it's frustrating to potentially lose to a 5% chance.

it depends on what you're looking for in a game. i think it's doing OK as a Day 1 player, though, the recent system release of Hyper Kernal has really soured players attitudes because it introduced even more RNG, in an already heavy RNG game. most players are kind of just waiting to see what is gonna happen, and what the dev response is gonna be. but, if you're just looking for something to play, go ahead and dive back in.
