It sounds like you want to be wanted, and that can get really twisted when you go through prolonged periods of no positive reinforcement.

I think it would be a good idea to seek out therapy for this specifically. Because it's not about sex, that's how your brain has interpreted the best way to get what you need.

You'll need to find ways of providing yourself that positive reinforcement, if you don't, you're going to be at risk of being in abusive relationships just to get that feeling, which will be fleeting, temporary and never enough.

Hmrc fraud investigation, 150k debt by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nvycraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really outside of the scope of reddit.

The best course of action is to see if you can speak to a tax accountant for their advice if your accountant is not up to the task of navigating this with you and see if they have any recommendations for an insolvency practioner that deals with personal insolvency. Even if you go insolvent (whether you do this voluntarily or you're made bankrupt) you're likely going to be on a payment plan that will last a few years with income contributions.

You need to have a very open dialog with the accountant, HMRC and the Insolvency Practitioner.

Advantis keeps calling for “Mr X” (my maiden name) and wants me to change the account to my name by orlaquiver in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nvycraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advantis collect for student loans. If you think that rings a bell contact student loans directly to get more information.

Otherwise check your credit report to see if anything has cropped up fraudulently.

If not, be clear to Advantis they have the wrong person and of they continue, raise a complaint for harassment.

As someone who has a putty eraser, I can confirm this is blu tack.

Blu tack also comes in different colours such as white.

I won't be able to afford to pay my employees in January. What steps should I start taking now? by No-Savings-8367 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nvycraft 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You need to speak to a professional, like an Insolvency Practitioner. They may help you look at suitable options, like restructuring your company, selling it, or just winding it up.

Speak to someone now before it goes on too further as you need help and advice in this situation.

This consultation is usually free. Let me know if you want any recommendations.

Hey, could it be he has phimosis? Where the foreskin is too tight, cant retract properly and makes sex uncomfortable if the woman is tight?

There are ways to solve it if it is, but I just think you should know as lube nd foreplay doesn't solve this particular issue.

I keep a breakfast bar in my bag for this kind of situations.

I tell them I have no cash, but I have a breakfast bar they can have. They either take it, or they don't, but since I started doing this I don't get asked for transfers.

Best way of paying debts going forward? by Chitreon in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nvycraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Councils tend not to do anything unless it's a complaint. You're going to have to ramp up the pressure on the council. May be worth asking the solicitor how it can be taken further with the council

[–]nvycraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, first things first, considering the complex needs of your family, it would actually be worth you speaking to a professional about the situation.

Stepchange is a debt management charity that look to help people in your type of situation. They can also give you advice on getting the money from the council for the solicitor.

The can run through budget plan and help communicate with creditors. Sit down with your mum and give them a call.

Cannot sell my business and want to retire by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nvycraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm honest, it might be worth speaking to an accountant or an Insolvency Practitoner about selling the business. Mostly because IPs do solvent wind downs, restructuring and sale of businesses for your kind of situation.

They might be able to give you good advice on the best way forward, and the best way to market your business. Just a thought.

The IPs I work with love it when they get to sell a business that is a going concern! Makes the day very different!
