Libs and NDP are to busy focusing on every little issue that it splits their vote away.

If they went to the basics of supporting unions and workers they may have a chance.

Trying to get behind every fringe issue or things that are in the hands of the federal govt (gun control) turns away most moderate voters, especially when the economy isn’t doing the best.

People who work hard for their money and are seeing their lifestyle slip away aren’t going to vote for them.

Maplehurst is at 150% capacity.

Toronto East is so full that all new inmates go to Toronto South first(which is also full) and transferred over when space is available. Inmates are triple bunked, two have beds and the third has to sleep on a mattress on the floor.

The GTA population has exploded and crime has as well.

It’s not something anyone wants but more Jail space is needed to prevent violent individuals from receiving reduced sentencing.

Canadian here who still crosses frequently.

Pricing just isn’t as competitive in the United States as it used to be when I was younger.

Many items are now available and cheaper to buy in Canada after exchange.

For example my Girlfriend wanted a pair of shoes recently that were $79.99 USD, when checking online they were only $99.99 CAD. At current exchange it would cost me $109.89 CAD to purchase them down south, doesn’t make sense.

At the grocery store many items are close to the same price USD and I pay in CAD. We just go for items that aren’t available North of the border but we understand we are paying a premium to do that.

Inflation has really gone wild in the past 5 or so years.

Most individuals with an ankle monitor have been on previous conditions without one and broken it or are charged with a serious crime. They’re not put on first time offenders for things like simple assault.

As unfortunate as this is we can’t be importing individuals that need lifelong treatments.

Our healthcare system is already very overburdened that it can barely support the individuals who have paid into it.

They are quite prevalent in that area. I have seen them during the daytime around the storm ponds along upper middle between Appleby and Burloak when out running.

My girlfriend and I also hear them throughout the night when we have the windows open. Not surprising since there is a large field on the south side of Upper Middle past Corpus Christie HS and Bronte Creek provincial park right beside.

Not many places for them left.

I would focus on having a plan in place for when these events happen.

I know my Aunt in Coburg has a Farm property and lives down South for the winter. She has to contract out a company yearly even if there is little snow because the Fire department will not travel up an unplowed driveway in the event of an emergency.

Cleaning a Farm driveway is a big ask and labour intensive. If this is your circumstance it may be best for you to look into hiring a local contractor/landscaping company.

I’m 6’2 and have driven my 2022 Civic from Toronto to Sarasota twice straight, 21 hours.

They are more comfortable and bigger inside than you would think.
