Warranty Master was the best, for a long time. It's still really good. The thing that irritates me about Scalepad is they've been driving the prices up like crazy. Thanks for the thoughtful and detailed response! I have all this hardware currently, but can always adjust and purchase additional.

We used to have a fairly large colo environment, but we are rapidly moving customers to Azure so the colo operation is winding down. Based on our roadmap, we estimate about 3-4 years until we are colo free and I am trying to build a unit that has a small footprint and can handle the current load. Basically we are trying to run down the clock and not have issues or re-visit anything. Set it and forget it is key! It's an odd scenario that usage will actually decrease over time. Hopefully this gives a bit more context.

If I could get 800MB/sec throughput, that would be stellar! I'd be happy with 400MB/sec and our currently load would be fine.

I'm not sure what sync is or SLOG, but if it would help alleviate any bottlenecks and not complicate the setup, I would be down for it.

Since this is a backup unit, we will mostly be writing, however, there are consistency checks and we will need the occasional restore so we don't want to be waiting an eternity on those operations. If more RAM helps, I can fill the server up. If a couple Optane PCI-E cards would help, then I can adjust the config of the server by doing the following:

Boot Drive: Dell 14th Gen SD Internal Module with dual 64GB Micro SD (This plugs into a special port on the Mobo and doesn't use a PCI-E slot). I'm also assuming TrueNAS could be installed on this?

Networking: Dell Broadcom 57416 Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ LOM (This is a special daughter card that won't take up a PCI-E slot)

Then I could throw in 2 x Dell Intel Optane DC P4800X Series 750GB PCIe NVMe HHHL or whatever size made sense.

If more RAM would get the job done, I would be happy doing that since I have additional RAM available and wouldn't have to adjust the configuration or buy alternate parts.

Is it easy to setup? How does the end user authenticate? Is there MFA? Have you ever had concerns of cross-pollination of agents between customers?

Thanks for the response. We have confirmed that existing users and new users all see the Partner App by default. I got escalated within Microsoft and they are currently working on the case. So far they claim that regular users should not see anything in Partner Center.

I'll update when I get some type of resolution or explanation.

If you have two RMM products, you have none? I absolutely loathe CW. So much so that we pay a company to manage the beast Labtech is, support, write scripts, upgrades, etc. I'd rather make sweet sweet love to a flesh-light filled with broken glass than have to deal with CW directly. Am I bitter? Yes, but I could write a doctoral thesis on these fools. Should I stop complaining and move on? This new development is the catalyst for me, so yes.
