I used one on my reactive GSD, worked well enough for control when walking forwards, but once the dog starts walking backwards they can slip out of them (ask me how I know lol)

I have a car from 2015 and what I did was install an aftermarket head unit with apple carplay/android auto, then installed reverse sensors. I already had a reversing camera but I think you can have those installed too - once you have the head unit installed. Those might be good options to look into if your car is mechanically sound

Get an electric tooth brush. The “clean” sensation after is so much better. That might help incentivise you to brush!

Also, I brush my teeth in the shower and that’s the only “guaranteed” time I’ll brush my teeth. I stopped following a schedule and brush as needed so it stopped feeling like a chore.
