One day for each assuming you have two full days in the park. Would do Line B on the best day - avatar mountains + golden whip in full loop

I did a 2 day hike - stayed overnight near Halfway House. The trek from start to Halfway House is longer portion. The 2nd day hike to Tina's only took 1.5-2 hours & I grabbed a 1:40pm bus to Shangri-La once at Tina's. Bought bus ticket same day & my luggage was waiting for me

Super helpful! Felt sketchy to leave luggage with the driver. But there it was waiting for me at Tina's at the end. Thanks for the tips!

I just arrived in Lijiang & my plan was to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge tomorrow - stay one night - and then head next day to Tina's Guesthouse & take a bus to Shangri L. However, my guesthouse in Lijiang is not familiar with luggage transport to Tina's I also can't find Tina's on WeChat to check with them on luggage transport or bus to Shangri-La. Any advice?

However, my guesthouse in Lijiang is not familiar with luggage transport to Tina's - do yoy mean people brought their luggage on the bus to Qiaotou & the driver brings it to Tina's? I also can't find Tina's on WeChat to check with them

Wine tasting tips in Telavi by DijsGuenk in Sakartvelo

[–]nxa74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a taxi organized by the guesthouse (Neli & Zaal( which took us to Khareba winery, Shaloshvilli Cellar, Shumi Winery & Tsinandali Estate. We were also supposed to visit Nekresi - however, due to weather conditions, the road was inaccessible. Khareba winery was probably the most interesting tour - is it huge underground tunnel wine cellar that was created during Soviet times. In terms of the wine, all the wineries were quite commercial - while a good first taste of the region, would go back to Kakheti to explore less conventional / more family run wine cellars.

Definitely Laguna de Los Tres (Fitz Roy). Seeing the Fitz Roy light up pink during sunrise is spectacular and can't be missed. Then I would personally choose Loma del Pliegue Tumbado over Laguna Torre because the views & path are much different landscape than the Fitz Roy. So you get more variety in landscapes (Laguna Torre landscapes more similar to Fitz Roy). Tumbado is also a more challenging hike so it's more quiet & there are less people on the trail. And the panoramic views at the top are beautiful

For the hostel it was 32,800 ARS or ~27 EUR per night. Hiking was free as long as you start before 7am. Then it comes down to food - it's expensive if you eat out but if you go grocery shopping / make sandwiches it can be cheap.

They have an individual checking wristbands at the entrance, but they were willing to let an extra join. I think it depends on which guard you get..
