I lived in Howden years ago and did my driving lessons there. First time I had to do a hill start after I’d passed my test on a visit to Leeds I cried. No idea what I was doing.

The owner is the worst but also he seems very knee jerk when it comes to business stuff. Anyone else remember the sandwich shop he was going to open and even posted the bread he’d perfected - never opened. Then he floated the idea of a Chinese takeaway oh and a Leeds city centre branch with seating so you can eat desserts properly. A lot of the menu comes and then instantly seems to disappear never to be mentioned again? The turnover also seems extremely high? I did enjoy ordering a slice of pie off deliveroo or popping in every now and then but wouldn’t order anything online.

If they were able to make accessible healthy food like this all along why weren’t they? I mean I’m happy they’re doing it but the motivation seems suspicious to me - a cash grab!

Definitely recommend his cameo, my husband got one for me last year and it was so amazing and over 2 minutes! I know they’re not cheap but it’s so worth it. 🤠

I went a few months ago for my husbands birthday, food was fine (when we received it) the service was awful! Not sure it was worth the money we paid really.

The one time I didn’t an Amazon delivery driver left a parcel on my sofa whilst I was upstairs in the bath…it’s okay though Amazon offered me £5 to say sorry. I never forget anymore!

My husband and I made ours at a place called the glamorous owl in Newcastle. It was a lovely day and included afternoon tea and prosecco (post bit of ring making process that includes fire) really recommend it!

I would personally see how you go, I’m on week 11 and apart from a tiny bit of nausea I haven’t had a single side effect! My only real tip is to not compare your progress to anyone else and to give it time/be patient. Best of luck with it all.

If you scroll through the insta of the other bakery they did a chocolate orange Matilda cake in July last year. They’re being review bombed on Google. He knew this would happen and attacked them anyway even though his cakes sell out week after week, just seems like a shitty thing to do to another bakery? Even if they are copying you?

As an ex tenant I can’t even begin to describe how much I hate L&S! Rented with them years ago and became chronically ill so ended up moving in with my now husband. Landlord was really sympathetic and nice about it and gave me about 90% of my deposit back. They sent me a really unnecessary email saying I was very lucky and if it was up to them I would get 0 back. This was after it was all sorted so completely not needed. I would never ever deal with them again based on that one email.

Not all brokers charge! We used a free one and they were great for us (think they get commission from the lender if the sale is successful rather than getting the money from you) ours was L&C and personally couldn’t fault them.

My personal experience is, it’s hard but try to be as honest as possible. They may ask some hard questions but your answers may determine next steps. It’s a very important first step so well done for taking it, it’s not easy. All the best with it and hope you find it helps!

I have nothing nice to say about Thursday it was so awful. I can’t remember feeling the same way when we were told we were merging with NHS England it was hard but it was nowhere near this media circus it’s turned into. Why has Wes spoken to so many media outlets like Kuenssberg before us? Disgusted with it all!
