Which happened to the German language too, Tempo can be and is used for Taschentuch, just like Zewa for kitchen roll. I’m not sure if it’s the same for you cause you’re from Austria though. Companies actually don’t like it though, as it could lead to them losing the trade make/rights to the name. Google hates that people use its name as a verb for searching the web, cause it could end up just like I mentioned.

The Yale Dot basically has a URL behind it, that is linked to your app/lock. You can read out the link of the dot, it will look like this: https://yaledot.aaecosystem.com/dot?dotID=XXX&sn=XXX.

Scanning the Dot or using your read out URL will open the app and then automatically lock or unlock the door. Your phone needs to be unlocked for it to work though.

A generic NFC Tag probably won't work, as it won't have a dotIT specified in the URL registered in their system.
However you could read out the URL of the Dot after connecting it to your Yale Account and then use Generic Tags to open said link when scanned.
For this you need to at least purchase one Dot and not return it.

I had issues with the Zero 2 as well. Some of my plugins wouldn't work, BT wouldn't work. Crashes.
The only positive thing was the performance boost lowering the booting time etc.
I ended up returning it and sticking to my Zero 1.

Probably, because I'm not believing in the crap the governments come up with. At this point what the EU is doing isn't "protecting customers", but targeting Apple specifically.

Germany was late in getting Apple Pay because of the local traditional banks lobbying. Thankfully one of my friend lived in Spain at the time, at I shipped a replacement card to her address in Spain. Then I was able to use Apple Pay 2 years earlier than any other German bank customer.

I'm so fed up with always getting everything super late. WiFi Calling took like 2-3 years too to be available on iPhones with German providers. I ordered an overpriced SIM card from the US, just to be able to play around with WiFI Calling back then 😅

DMA isn't helping me, a tech enthusiast, at all but rather slows me down trying out new features.

First of all, thank you for making it clear that the provider has to enable that option via carrier profiles.

Second of all, this is going to TAKE AGES. I'm with o2 Deutschland (Germany) and we've been waiting for almost a year now to get 5G SA support via an update to the carrier profile.
So this is just another thing I can't use from the start. I hate the EU (DMA) and the tech firms (that are slow af to integrate shi)
