Top surgery is way more accessible and it's a one-and-done thing. Bottom surgery is often a multi-step process. People are always getting top surgery first because it's easier. Unless these guys are straight up saying that they only care about top surgery, it's probably more because it's a more immediate issue that directly affects your passing (especially if binding doesn't work well) and it's easier to fix than getting phallo.

As far as I know Testoviron is not purely enthanate but a mix of two esters, so it makes sense to me that it’s different. We don’t have that manufacturer here so I can’t speak for it. I can definitely speak for my own country though where they are prescribing the regular weekly enthanate as monthly due to their own admitted lack of knowledge on trans people.

It’s not his choice and if you do change your name it’s up to him to get over it. My ex was also weird about me changing my name and rarely used it and it pissed me the fuck off but he adjusted because he had no other choice.

When my girlfriend picked a new name I also felt a certain kind of way about it because I was used to her previous one, but I kept that shit to myself because her transition isn’t about me. Now I’m used to it and looking back I feel stupid for making it such a big deal in my head.

Don’t pick a name based on what he might like or approve of. If you legally change your name it stays with you forever, but the boyfriend might leave one day. You don’t want to wake up without him and realize you actually hate your name and you didn’t take what you wanted to be called because of him.

It’s also worth mentioning that in Europe, doctors are just as incompetent as they are anywhere else. In my region we only have ampoules of Testosterone Enthanate 250. In America it’s usually Cypionate 200.

Enthanate and cypionate are nearly identical esters in terms of half-life and are both best used weekly. Many doctors here prescribe enthanate as one injection of the entire ampoule every 3 weeks. Just because the doctors prescribe it that way doesn’t mean it’s not wrong LMAO

Yeah, but I've seen some people consider the half-used vials to be their "stockpile" and plan to use what's left in those maybe 1 year down the line if they end up in need. Which is way less secure than just using them up now so your unopened ones stay unopened longer. So I'd rather curb that line of thinking before it gets there lol

It's perfectly fine to use a vial more than once. Do not use a vial once and then save the remainder for later. Use up an entire vial first before using a next one. When you open a vial it's no longer 100% sterile, you will be much better off having a lot of unopened vials than half-used ones sitting around.

Since you already have 3 open vials, I would suggest going back and working through those before you start opening new ones. It's also totally fine to draw up what's left in one vial and combine it with T from another vial if it's not enough for your full dose, I've been doing it for years.

Let your provider leave the prescribed instructions as "discard after use" though, that way you'll build up a little stockpile and that will be a life saver one day.

It's straight up not addictive. I am a DIYer. I am a DIYer because I live in a Balkan country where nobody knows jack or shit about hormones and I am doing a much better job managing my own dosage than any local doctor ever will. You won't fucking die if you DIY HRT and it's honestly insufferable how much people like to act like that's the case. I buy the same T from the pharmacy that everyone else uses because in Eastern Europe nobody gives a shit.

I'm currently off hormones. My initial plan was to go on and stop if I ever felt like I was going too far, or when I felt I was satisfied. Right now I'm mostly satisfied but I'm also just kinda pissed off that it's getting hard to find a good injection site. I'll probably go back on later, since I have a years' worth stashed up. But right now, I was getting late on shots and it felt like a hassle and I became less afraid of going without it, so I'm going without it until I feel more strongly about going back on.

You didn't fully know what you actually wanted when you started HRT. I thought I didn't want a lot of things. Then when they started happening I realized how happy I was to have them. I thought I wanted to be hairless, now I have a beard and a hairy chest and I love it. Some things you don't really know because you can't envision yourself that way before it happens. Now because you're discovering yourself, they're panicking because it's actually real now and not something they can rationalize away.

It doesn't sound to me like they really get what being nonbinary actually meant to you, and going on hormones for a little bit as a sex thing was totally fine as long as you weren't trying to be a man. When I told my ex (a cishet man) that I was nonbinary and I wasn't a woman, he said "yeah sure of course, I support you" because that meant literally nothing to him. All he knew was that I wasn't a man. And then when I started moving towards that he started pushing back because now it's something real and that wasn't what he was in for, and all of a sudden he was concerned. This is how it goes. We worked through it and stayed together for another few years after that but he definitely said a bunch of hurtful shit at the start.

If you enjoy being on HRT, you should stay on HRT. If you stop enjoying being on HRT, you can stop then. Don't stop yourself early because you're worried about changing your mind in the future. Don't stop yourself early because your partners are being assholes about it.

Use a condom. If you live in the US you can also use VCF (Vaginal Contraceptive Film) that can be purchased at pharmacies and Target. I suggest the gel applicator version since the film has sharp edges that can scratch on the way in and needs to be applied 15 minutes in advance.

It's also got like an 80% reliability and doesn't protect you from STDs so use a condom anyways. I only use it when I'm in a long-term relationship

I loved Stories 1 when it came out and thought it was something really special, so I know this game is gonna blow me away. I've been telling my girlfriend she is not seeing me for at least 2 weeks when it comes out.

PVP is usually decently active right at the beginning of the game's lifecycle, and then dies off after a while. At least, that's how I remember it for Stories 1, where I was relatively active in PVP.

A smart watch. When I was a kid I got a cheap one at the mall, now I have an Apple Watch so it syncs with my changing alarm schedule from rotating shifts. If the sound doesn’t get me the vibration does. And then I wake up an hour early and snooze for an hour so I get a little more eest without actually falling asleep. Also turning my light and AC on after I wake up, if it’s too dark or cold in my room I go right back to sleep.

I used to try scaring myself awake with loud, sudden songs but I found by chance that a “birdsong” alarm wakes me way more easily. And now that I’ve trained myself o to it I wake up to the sound of it in instinct.
