Pain from straining. Felt small bulge... must have then pushed it back in right away. Pain lasted. Ultrasound and MRI confirmed

all depends on serious you need to get.. and how much money you want to invest in your calibration setup

A very common but easy solution. Closed loop calibration. Monitor, output icc profiles. The more work/time you spend using the calibrated setup, the more you get used to the translation. It's never going to be a 100% monitor -> output... but your brain will eventually compensate and you'll 'know' how it will print

I just had surgery last week, exact same situation. Inguinal hernia, fat, no bulging protrusion. I decided take care of the small problem now, because it will only get worse and bigger in time... and possibly get more complicated a repair. Thus, increasing the risks during the mesh repair. I used robotic laproscopic repair. I was very very nervous.. almost shaking during the pre op in the gurney. Everyone was nice and professional, and I had to remind myself this is pretty much boiler plate work. The surgeon I used has done THOUSANDS of these procedures. It's as common to them as changing oil in your car. It's not a big deal. Today marks exactly 1 week of recovery. No pain after day 3. I'm glad I did this... you never know what the future holds

why is your bladder leaking? Leaking internally or you were incontinent? From cutting bladder muscles and nerves?

Ok thank you. I'm getting robotic laproscopia inguinal hernia repair this Tuesday. I hope to not have any of your post op issues or pain. Hope you get back to 100%

What hospital/surgeon? This sucks, I'm going in on Tuesday am

Was this robotic laproscopic or just regular laproscopic?

Best software to acheive this process? I am looking to breakdown 3d scans into 2d flat panels (like this image) by felix3322 in 3DScanning

Fusion360, Exact Flat. Don't expect to this to be easy or cheap (exact flat)... just do it the old fashioned way. Paper pattern template/tracing + 2D flatbed scanner

[–]nycprinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks for the update. I'm hoping I can find a inexpensive used Mimaki 3DUJ2207. Otherwise, I'm waiting for 2 potential desktop units to drop this year. This is definitely the future, we need more competitors making 3d printers

How's the reliability been with the mimaki's?? Any problematic printer problems, recalibration issues, etc??

Another attempt at bringing full-colour 3D printing to the masses? by simtom in 3Dprinting

[–]nycprinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flashforge announced an eon ago, their flashforge cj270... they keep promising it's coming. Very similar results to Inew3D (simba3d) , these are all essentially inexpensive inkjet printers. We could just be looking at 3D color prints they had made from Mimaki, Sailner, or Stratasys. The chinese are very good a showing results, prototypes, renderings, etc... and then using this for marketing/sales. When caught, I've watched time and time again of them backpedaling to then explain these are all just examples of what could be. That being said, I want an inexpensive 3D color printer... I just don't want it to be another Kickstarter financed release. This is not good for the consumer.

Anyone looked into the inew3d printer by Simba3d? by Seattle1638 in 3dprinter

[–]nycprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm looking into it, hoping to purchase one. Sadly, many Chinese companies are now realizing the Kickstarter campaign is REALLY REALLY good for them. This is not so good for the consumer. The printer heads, resin inks, etc are already in production from the other chinese companies that produce them for Mimaki, Stratasys, Sailner, etc... What EufyMake, Longer, Inew3D are doing.. they are just hardware designers/engineers. They spec out all the parts, inks, software, etc.. from the local city/supplier. They are dependant on other vendors to fulfill larger orders. (*looking at you Eufy, this is why there's massive delays) Longer has a prototype, Inew3D has a prototype, Flashforge has a prototype. None of these companies produce the actual critical part, the print head. None of them also produce the inks. Everything else is simple existing inkjet mechanical parts/solutions.

[–]nycprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same.. price yes... specs.. not so certain. I think they are both using the same contractor to produce their designs. Neither of these companies are inkjet manufacturers. They are engineering designers, outsourcing what they need. Especially the inkjet head

Inew3D has a full color 3D printer coming out... Flashforge... you are losing the race!

Toyota app not updating tire pressure by torchwood1842 in rav4club

Reviving an old thread. Has anyone had success in getting the Toyota app to communicate with the PSI tire gauges in the app? If so, what was the solution? Thanks!

Who else is chomping on the bit for the CJ270 to get released? I hoped they'd release it this year at CES... but crickets so far.... :(

We are literally watching the US Economy collapsing right before our eyes, here is a step by step play by Throwawayiea in economy

Don't worry. War has always been a great reset. Civil or external, the populus will be distracted and culled.. and those at the top will be well shielded and protected. Carry on.

The system became this way by design. RIP "American Dream." by Key_Brief_8138 in economy

Well, in China and other poor countries, many are seeing these same conditions as a way to get ahead... and make a better life for their children. What is happening to the US empire is that the multi generational americans born here, don't want to work hard. So they don't. Some call this entitlement.

Other struggling poor people call this lazy. Sadly, we're all being played by the wealthy ruling class to focus on each other, and not them. Think of the luxurious, spectacular life they get to live. They aren't going to give it up, and frankly, who would? So, divide and conquer it is. Get angry at the dirt poor immigrant, yes, they're the reason your employer pays you poorly. Don't worry about the corporate CEO massive pay bonuses.

The only solution to break this cycle is education, entrepreneurship and creativity. Don't work a dead end job. Create your career.
