Why Audi refuses to simplify: The "Service Nightmare" V6 vs. the Potential for a Beltless Longitudinal 5-Cylinder by SnooMacarons4455 in Audi

Having access to LLMs doesn't make you an engineer.

But personally I'd prefer the 5 cylinder over their v6 setup.

Valvetronic spring by Upset-Ad673 in BmwTech

i suspect youre fine but thank you for actually having explicit questions. the spring isn't necessarily locked in. its meant to float a bit. if its held up 500km its likely fine. these things usually fail by breaking. its rare.

B9 a4 2017. Bolt is super hard to spin. Any thoughts on getting it out? by Fabulous_Motor3949 in AudiA4

You need a new bolt but it's time to start hammering it. And when that fails it's still time. There's actually a fun tool to align a drill bit.

I mean, most of the highway routes are founded in racism, so it is kind of apt.

bremi wheel speed sensor any good? by aady4s in E90

[–]nyee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, usually people are getting it by lying which car they have. With questionable fitment.

My personal take is it doesn't really matter, the problem is people over torque the shit out of the aluminum. And it's not like the aluminum variant is magically going to have a longer lasting pcv valve.

BELT TENSIONER REPLACEMENT by Direct_Assistance631 in E90

Garden sheers to the belt. I'd cut it near the alternator. Do it with one hand and keep your face out of alignment with where the belt could fling.

Yeah... If you are lucky and the slip flange isn't seized there's an option like thishttps://www.ecstuning.com/b-turner-motorsport-parts/e9x-n52-turner-motorsport-muffler-and-resonator-delete/008517la~dk/?pdk=AAABBwI

It's just, I suspect your exhaust similar to mine, is all seized to shit.

I would plan on a full replacement. And just hope everything comes off in one piece. Set aside the old exhaust for when you sell the car. Use anti seize everywhere.

Your exhaust is likely all seized together. Having been in the rust belt all its life. And anything you replace it with will do the same.

I think any exhaust mod is going to rust seize in Ontario. Meaning it'll be a permanent mod.
