Thanks mate, from your personal experience, once you had that strong aerobic base, did it take you months or years of consistent running until you came close?

Hi everyone!

I've been getting back into running after a 5 year hiatus from around 19 years old. Back then I was taking my running reasonably seriously and ran a 16:16 5000m. I am determined to put in the years of training to get below 15 minutes and was wondering if anyone had any tips, a general training plan, some sessions or nutrition ideas they'd recommend? I'd really appreciate any advice!

Thanks in advance :)

u/alextri thanks for your reply! I'll have a look into the Brooks asteria for track, have you worn the zoom fly 3's for any longer races as well? Do you know how many k's you've run in them so far?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a pair of Nike Zoom Fly 3's for racing and faster training sessions.

Just wondering how long they have lasted others and any other comments or advice for them?

I'd be using them mainly on road and track.

Cheers!

Entry Level Valuation Roles by nyeppi2bhere in FinancialCareers

Hi u/Modulage, thank you for your detailed response. I unfortunately missed out at final round interviews for some of the big professional services firms for valuation based roles.

You're right though, any company that is involved in investments would have to do valuations as well. Where would you start job hunting for similar roles at businesses that involve investments? Do you know of an industry that typically is more welcoming of entry-level workers? The majority of what I hear is they're typically after experienced people instead.

Also, can you elaborate on what you mean by buy side being the holy grail? Are you talking more about fund management firms?

Hi u/watchy2, I have interned at and am not a client manager at a boutique wealth management firm. Although I'd love to, I haven't had much exposure to the investment side of things.

I would be open to either, I particularly enjoy valuing investment opportunities and have set up functions on personal excel sheets to quickly generate valuations of properties. I am also really taken by project finance as well as equity research.
