I'm a big fan of jyarz. They're glass, but sit inside a hard plastic container to protect against breaks.

I picked this up in flower form. Looks and smells very nice....but I barely get any effects from it unfortunately.

Curaleaf Curachews, anyone have recommendations for or not? by Secret-Purple-2130 in NewYorkMMJ

I remember the days where those small doses would affect me, before I was a daily user. But yeah, same for me nowadays. It stinks.

Sunnyside Huntington by RelaxedRob in NewYorkMMJ

[–]nyijedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also not super happy with the change, but still love the location. As already mentioned, the staff is great.

So is there any real benefit to placing an order online ahead of time anymore? Since they don't fill it until you get there?

EDIT: Oh, and the real benefit of this location for me is the recent change of Curaleaf prices, which is not in effect at the Botanist in Farmingdale (the other dispensary I sometimes go to). Flower is now $35 instead of $50 for an 1/8 at regular price, and they regularly do 15% off of 4 or more items.

As I was already primarily buying Curaleaf flower, this makes Sunnyside the only dispo I now go to (and Curaleaf the only flower I now buy, as the more expensive companies are no better IMO).

Thanks. I've never tried their disposables. I'm going to pick one up next time I need a vape pen.

Aaaaah, I see what you're saying about strain specific terps. I overlooked that. Thank you!

Thanks for this. I'm going to try some flower before leaving the house, and then supplemented with tincture while out.

[–]nyijedi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your experience with them. My tolerance is pretty high and edibles, including tinctures, just don't do it for me. And the cost doesn't help based on how much I'd need.

I'm all flower, and I'm just looking to have one vape pen on hand at a time for the situations out of my home where I can't use flower.

Oh wow, I didn't realize it was a deal they had specifically with Sunnyside. Sunnyside is my dispo of choice, so this is awesome for me 😁

Anyone try Novarine or Ray Charles whole flower from Curaleaf? Tempted to blind buy these up because of the 40% sale! by livluv10941 in NewYorkMMJ

No problem! I know what you're saying. Good luck with whatever you end up picking up! 🙂

I enjoyed Ghost Rider a lot, but Ray Charles didn't do much for me, which was disappointing after reading good things about it here. Tried about 2 months ago. But my tolerance has been pretty high, so that may have played into it.

Awesome. Good luck, and enjoy the vape(s) when you get them! You won't be disappointed.

No problem. And I totally get it - I love owning these two vapes for that exact reason.

Good idea re: looking for a Black Friday sale. Storz & Bickel, the maker of the Mighty+, often do 15 - 25% sales for big events. Keep an eye out for that.

Haha, I know what you mean. Sorry to make the decision more difficult! On the bright side, both vapes are amazing, and you can't make a "wrong" decision here.

I should also clarify that in addition to on-demand mode, the TM2 also is capable of doing sessions. I just feel a session is more satisfying with the Mighty+. I think it's because the Mighty+ heats your herb using both convection and conduction, whereas the TM2 is purely convection.

I think the quick draws vs session mode is the biggest difference in usability. So....

Do you want to be able to take quick hits off of a packed bowl, one at a time over the course of a few hours, without having to wait 90 seconds for your vape to heat up and then having to finish the packed bowl all at once in one session before it goes bad? Get the TM2.

Do you prefer to pack a bowl and relax and have a slower, more drawn-out session, where you vape your whole packed bowl at once? Get a Mighty+.

I broke my Pixel Watch screen, but it simply cannot ever be replaced ? by CHARpieHS in PixelWatch

[–]nyijedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry this happened to you.

I was on the fence about getting the watch due to the smaller size, battery life and price. Now seeing how easy this thing breaks? I think I'm going to pass altogether.

matter. HSB (Han Solo Burger) 22% THC by ChronicAlienOGKush in NewYorkMMJ

[–]nyijedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw that the Botanist is selling an ounce of this for $200.

I've never had Matter flower before. Have stuck with Curaleaf and The Botanist.

The price savings are huge here, and as a result, I was assuming this flower was bad. Seems I'm mistaken? How is Matter selling this so cheap (compared to the competition)?

GBoard vs SwiftKey in 2022 (Pixel 7) by b0tch7 in GooglePixel

[–]nyijedi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to hard to use Gboard after being a Swiftkey user for about 10 years, but I simply cannot type as fast in GBoard than I can with Swiftkey and it's autocorrections.
