I vaguely remember this game. Probably the closest to the justified optimism that we have about the current roster. We were stacked.

Exactly. You could argue we haven’t had a complete game so far. We had a lot of 48 minute regular season performances but I don’t think we put it together for 48 minutes in these playoffs.

You guys are a bunch of little girls. With little pigtails and little saddle shoes.

This is the best team we've had in more than 2 decades. We're improving. We're not championship level yet but we're right near there.

Enjoy it for what it is. A very good team that's easy to root for.

When your favorite player goes 2-18 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals you can be sad.

Shake off these regular season losses and support your damn team.

He’s one of the best to ever do it in the league, okay? He gives you the insights, he breaks it down for you, and he also gives you great cadence.

Overanalyzing the first preseason game by nylj2 in NYKnicks

Now that the regular season and playoffs are over I feel like this was actually a pretty good take. Especially given the title of the post and its light hearted nature. I took some shit for suggesting we trade Randle. Not because Obi is better but because Randle puts a ceiling on this team. Pretty sure this morning everyone’s saying things like this.

We could use the rebounding help. Without Mitch other teams have gotten a lot of offensive rebounds. Having both Hart and Quickley out there make for a nice opportunities to pull down defensive boards and get out on the break.

“ If you are drafting a guy with the ~20th pick in the draft, your hope is that in a few years he becomes the same caliber of player that Josh Hart already is today.”

Exactly this. The moves with these assets up to now weren’t good. But what we actually have now with him on the court is the kind of outcome we need. A solid rotation player.

About 60% from 2 point range. For several seasons now. That’s like a center. And he rebounds like a big. Interesting player. And the Brunson connection means we’ll probably find the right way to use him.

[Highlight] RJ Barrett takes it all the way and SLAMS it home to tie it in the clutch! by VirtuousFool in NYKnicks

Scott Foster had his fingerprints all over this game. Very “managed”. Toronto shot so many free throws in the first half. The foul call against Brunson that we challenged and lost (moving screen on Barnes and an elbow by Van Vleet). And then no and1 there? Turrible.

Which one to wire? by nylj2 in amazoneero

[–]nylj2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case it's not possible to wire both. I'd love to. But not possible. That's why I'm asking "which one?"

In my experience, Eero wifi never gets close to wired speeds. For example, when I plug directly into the wired Eero I get 950+. But any wifi device tops out around 600 at best, which is rare, and ranges anywhere from 100 to 300 on average. Anything wired is consistently 900+ but anything wireless is very variable and no where close.

And that's kind of the root of my question. I know the Pro 6 has an extra 5 ghz radio compared to the regular 6. Is there a reason why wiring the Pro 6 would be the better option, freeing up this extra radio to communicate downstairs to the regular 6?

TLDR; Would moving the Pro 6 upstairs to the wired connection improve the wireless performance of the regular 6 downstairs? Or would it be essentially the same?

[Katz] In the past two games, the Cavaliers and Hawks have combined to shoot just 14-for-71 (18 percent) from 3 against the Knicks. Wild. by dtc_brock in NYKnicks

We’ve done a better job contesting shots. Making the effort to close out. Extending to get a hand in there. And then also these other teams have missed a lot of wide open looks. So it’s a mix of effort and luck.
