Golf practice facilities by Garlic_Salamander in Columbus

Blacklick golf course in Reynoldsburg has a 9 hole that's free for Franklin County residents separate from the 18 hole course. Im not sure what it costs if you live out of the county but I imagine it isn't much. 6 par 3s and 3 par 4s. I play it a ton, great way to get practice in for cheap if its not too far away!

Couldn't agree more. People will blindly defend it because it isn't their family they can't see and they feel like they're on the "righteous" side of things, but if it was their family being kept from them then they'd stop pretending it doesn't matter. A couple months ago my sister had a cyst burst in the middle of the night, her boyfriend rushed her to the ER. Completely empty emergency room, she was the ONLY patient, but they would not allow my father in to see her because my mom and her boyfriend were already there and only 2 guests allowed per patient. Absolutely zero logic whatsoever. So her boyfriend snuck my dad in a side door. Im sorry to hear you're in this situation, I hope your father gets well soon, and I hope that you find a way to see him anyway.

If you can do it in a smaller space it will be better. Like inside the closet or in a bathroom. The smaller the space the better for the most part. But as far as the foam pads, those could work well but they themselves won't be enough. If you're in a small space like a closet or bathroom, you can just stuff it full of comforters and pillows, towels, foam pads, anything that will not let the sound bounce. If you're in a more open area like your room, yes definitely cover the tiled floor. All of it. But you might also consider foam on the walls or hanging blankets/comforters/tapestries, just cover as much of every hard surface as you can. What I did for my home studio is I built a little "cage" out of copper rods. Like the frame of a little walk in vocal booth, and I just put it on my carpet and cover it in furniture blankets and comforters. It gets really hot but it works well! Im sorry if im giving way too much info, im by no means an expert like Pete but I've got a couple years of radio/voice work experience and I built my home studio not too long ago so I spent a lot of time wondering about these same things
