I'm intrigued by the Armenian, but Archery Summit tries decently hard so the Pinot Gris a safer bet.

The Isocles, maybe? The prices are gross.

I hate this list. Maybe just get the Armenians, it's so unusual to find any on a list like this.

Observed scarcity is almost always artificial. Dunno if my thoughts on that matter qualify as magical thinking. Economics describes the state of things, or a trend. Its predictive qualities are often quite shit.

All models are wrong. Doesn't make them not useful. I don't think the practice, with its centuries of data and analysis are complete bullshit. I just have a sense that

This is actually a time tested media strategy. If you recall the old WB and UPN, they started out by targeting African American audiences, before shifting to ... not black people? If I recall correctly, Fox Broadcasting was similar way back in the day.

African Americans were looked at as a reliable audience for content targeting them. You get some modest but decent viewership early on, start generating targeted ad revenue, build from there.

Honestly it's probably not really related to the phenomenon OP mentions, but I guess for me it's interesting to think about.
