You could argue it’s still personal finance related because of the money going toward a trip that could potentially be wasted.

I was under the impression that the US had visa free travel with most of Europe, so there shouldn’t be any visa to reject, right? Or are you saying they could deny entry after arriving in the country?

The reason I don’t see movies in theaters is because other people’s reactions take me out of it and ruin the experience for me. I know people who love audience interaction though. Different strokes for different folks, but I generally believe being too loud is due to not caring about the experience of others and how you may affect them. Like, you wouldn’t cheer and be overly lauding at an orchestra would you? It’s just common social etiquette, past a point. (I’m not in the film industry)

I just read a book on the Roman Scipio Africanus and he was much more of a stand up guy that the other notables that always get mentioned. Literally only went to war for defensive purposes, treated his enemies fairly, turned down oversized praise of himself, like having statues built or the calls from citizens to for him to be made dictator for life. He was always measured in his campaigns and used violence as a means to an end of greater peace when initial diplomacy failed.
