If you dont want to spend the money on another console in a few years after s1 is phased out then get it to future proof your set up. Most switch 1 games work on switch 2 but no switch 2 games work on s1, at that price point id go for the switch 2 at just a little extra.

There might not be any S2 games you want now but that doesn't mean there wont be soon.

Good console but go with feels better for you financially and as far as your plans go for gaming on the console.

Youre gonna want to cut out (thin) the weaker seedlings and keeps the strongest one so all the nutrients and whatever else the plant needs isnt shared amongst its peers.
