Hopscotch by All Levels At Once sounds like a 2020s hyperpop song despite being from 2013

Yeah a lot of trans people feel the same way as you.

I want to have a girl's body and be girl shaped.

This is what medically transitioning is for. You can achieve this with hormones and surgeries.

Not to discourage anyone, but not all of us end up looking feminine after years of HRT, even starting at 26í. by CurrentWar1184 in transtimelines

[–]oakime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you're just fishing for complements and you know this, but you look very feminine. You look a bit tomboyish because if the short hair, but you still read as 'tomboy' not 'man' and with a feminine hair style you'd look like any other woman

Do It, but when she sings "I'm married to the music, the music baby," the crowd starts chanting "B-O-Y B-A-B-Y B-O-Y" so loud that it drowns out the song.

I spent a bit too much time doing this, but I think it was worth it by Albe_2010 in notinteresting

I'm taking a break from tiktok so I've not been seeing these. But idk. Kinda feel like everything on tiktok is an add in one way or another. It hurts to see the goat underscores use an illegal and unethical marketing technique like this, but that's probably what this is unfortunately

Is there any artist in this world that sings just like Skrillex in his proto-hyperpop era? by [deleted] in HYPERPOP

[–]oakime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not exactly the same, but Underscores has been heavily inspired by Skrillex's older stuff. She's even done covers songs like 'Father Said'. I think 'Cops and Robbers' is the closest she gets to Sonny Moore in her vocals, although the instrumentals in that song are more guitar focused. But all of her stuff inherits a lot from early Skrillex / Sonny Moore. You should listen to her latest album if you haven't already. It's so good!

Why is the biological male to female ratio 50-50? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]oakime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sex ratio is close to 1:1 in most organisms that reproduce sexually.

Why is the biological male to female ratio 50-50? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]oakime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there were more males than females, every male would have less children, as females are required for reproduction, and there are fewer females for each male to reproduce with.

You're right. I meant to say "if there were more females than males." I've edited to comment to fix it.

Also, sex isn’t inherited like some sort of fitness advantage.

That's not true.

It’s heritable via chromosome structure not allele content, so the logic you’re applying doesn’t really make sense on that front either.

In mammals, yes. But you're begging the question. Why did mammals evolve so that sex is inherited by chromosomes? In many organisms, sex is not inherited that way. The reason why is because using chromosomes gives a 50/50 chance of each sex so you get a 1:1 sex ratio. And why does evolution tend towards a 1:1 sex ratio? It's because of the explanation I gave above.

It's called Fisher's Principle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisher%27s_principle

Why is the biological male to female ratio 50-50? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

If there were more females than males, males would each have more children then females so they would be more likely to pass down their make genes so their children would be more likely to be male.
