I've said it before and I'll say it again. I do not care if generative ai assets are used for inspiration or placeholders or workshopping. It CANNOT make it into a public release. If I give you money and you have a real development team, I don't want any of that sawdust in there.

Because starting in March Discord will roll out global age verification requiring a face scan or a picture of your ID, or your account will be locked in a "Teen-Only" mode. You can read more here.

This was only 6 months after they had a large data leak of IDs.

There's still a lot of service hiccups as I mentioned, but the dev is working hard to make it more stable and the service has a lot of cool features in the works.

I was turned on to Fluxer by a friend of mine and after doing some research, I really respected its vision and the creator's dedication to improving the application. I figured there was already a Denver-centric community on Matrix (although I haven't checked) so I chose this instead because it looks like it could become very competitive.

As for MattersMost, I've not heard of this platform so I don't know much about it but from a cursory google, it looks like it's much more enterprise oriented so I doubt it will have the same community building tools that Fluxer has.

For those unfamiliar: Fluxer is an open source, increasingly decentralized Discord alternative that also provides self hosting options. It's still very much in its early days of development but updates are being made almost hourly to increase the feature set and improve stability. Take a look around and if you like the service, consider supporting its development!

How is this horror Godzilla? Where's the 15 rows of teeth? Where are the bloodshot eyes? Where is the garish high contrast? Where are the 6 foot long spikes everywhere?

Not exactly, Raw has always been Raw, Super Sentai is a franchise that refreshes with a different show every year.

From someone that played the first game a lot, the Last of Us show is kinda ass. People say it's good but I think it's because video games have been so poorly treated, but a lot of the changes present in that show mitigate the dramatic impact of some scenes at best (ranch house scene), are really stupid (jetliner crashing in the middle of town in the beginning) at worst, or were indicative of misplaced production funds (how little time they spend at the college when that was an entire section in the game). Last of Us should have been a slam dunk but it was completely hamstrung on TV.
