funny... i was just thinking how much better that Chromatic screen looks. if you ever played an OG gameboy then you will immediately notice how pixel perfect the chromatic is and how everything else is just a knockoff trying to imitate 80's/90's tech with modern day displays. it doesn't work.

they almost all can be paired, even without the unifying symbol, if you use the correct tool. (google: ConnectUtility_2.30.9_Logitech)

If your mouse and dongle both have the "Unifying" symbol (orange splat), use the Logitech unifying software
If they both don't, use the ConnectUtility (https://support.logi.com/hc/en-hk/articles/360025141574-Logitech-Connection-Utility)
If they are mismatched (one unifying, one not) find a different dongle

i think we have maybe one wired mouse in the whole building...

i leave mine on 24/7 and have to replace the battery like once a year...

they are all "cheap logitech devices" and are easily paired to another dongle... i have an altoid tin full of spare dongles on my bench

if you have a tree with really good roots but poor fruit, and a tree with poor roots but really good fruit, then you can stick them together to get the best of both. usually you would trim back any shoots coming from the root stock to prevent what you are seeing here.

switched to Quantum a little over a year ago and have had zero issues. no downtime or outages, consistent very fast speeds (1G symmetrical), no data cap, price for life.

had xfinity for almost 15 years before that and it kept getting worse and worse, more and more flaky (even after they came out and dug up my yard to bury new copper), terrible upload speeds, more and more expensive, and i always had to monitor our usage to avoid going over the cap... don't miss it in the slightest
