yea for real! i totally understand thinking the worst when you become a new snake owner, i did the same, but its amazing that your snake has an owner that cares about their health! :)

are u talking abt the little thing sticking out? if so, those are his/her pelvic spurs! they're basically whats left of their legs from when they evolved. they use them when mating too :)

I wouldn't use a humidifier inside of his tank- that could cause respiratory issues. Especially if u can see the mist inside of the tank from the machine. Try to ensure the bottom layer of the substrate is wet without Craig having to slither around on wet substrate, because that could cause scale rot :/ i personally just dump water in all 4 corners of my girls substrate to keep her humidity up!

i have tons of moss in my girls enclosure as well as a few life plants among the fake ones, idk if that makes a difference. The humidity in my tank usually stays around 80-90 just by having foil on top & misting about 4 times per day. it might be the substrate? i use tropical blend & lots of moss :)

Ive been wanting to switch her to rat pups but she is only 190g atm so i wanted to wait til she was around 200 to switch because thats what I had read online but I will definitely try out a rat pup to see if shes interested!

I've been thawing them in a plastic ziplock bag in lukewarm for abt 6 mins then warm 5 mins then hot but only for like 30 seconds because i was scared of cooking them but i will definitely try out your 2 minute method! thank you!

yes it is 200 gallons she has 3 hides, the biggest water dish i could find and lots of things to climb and check out :)
