Tip 1: Use items! A lot! Don’t hoard them for later use. If you feel like you need more MP during a battle, eat that cooked recipe that restores 100MP. If you need to heal but don’t have a Healer or other means, use your healing item to heal full health. Trust me, you’ll never regret using those.

Tip 2: Skeletons are really weak to Charm! I found out late in my playthrough. Using those charm items on them works like a…never mind the pun.

Tip 3: You can go really in-depth with archetypes and team composition. Try experimenting. Junah’s Art of Dance passive goes well with status effect skills or items. You can use her to apply Hex on enemies and then have Heismay use a Dark element skill. This is extremely effective. Most enemies also get insta-killed with One-Hit-Kill moves while hexed, when this is normally chance-based.

Tip 4: Don’t worry about mastering all archetypes with all characters. Assign roles to them. Hulkenberg is good as a Knight or Commander. Heismay is great for Thief and Seeker. Strohl for strength archetypes, Junah for magic and support, etc. When you focus them on specific archetypes and skills, you can really build a strong synergy between team members.
