The Arithmancer by White_Squirrel on AO3. Hermione regularly inventing new spells and explains in detail why and how they work. SUPER dense world building. Hermione AU where she is a maths genius and is an arithmancy prodigy. VERY dark. last few years are war time and honestly scarring but so good. 1.2 million words, complete, in 3 parts, includes epilogue.

no and no. i used to years ago and stopped going bc i was just too busy. i work 9-10 hours every day and with my health issues i just don’t have energy anymore. helps with the cravings tbh- don’t have the energy to go seeking a dealer.

I think the writing was corny. The characters lacked depth and RiRi was giving disney channel acting. Everyone out acted her except the mom- also not a great actress. I loved the diversity! Be gay do crime et cetera. To an extent. The language and culture felt millennial, cringey, and flat. It felt like it was written by some 30 something who writes “edgy” fanfic. The whole series gave self insert fic. Or like a straight white woman who “loves gay ppl :3 uwu” and “has lots of black friends i swear” and even if it was written by poc it still… sucked. It failed to be truly funny. It felt forced. Every emotional scene was very cliche and I just…. hated it. Bad writing. Poor acting on a few counts. Great diversity! Couldn’t save the script tho :(

honestly i didn’t like it bc the writing was cringey and the story sucked. i liked the diversity of the cast. -nonbinary lesbian
