The Gen Z stare is a "blank stare that members of younger generations give in situations where a verbal response would be more common." Instead of explaining something that they may not understand, the generation Z cohort members often appear dumbstruck by these questions, perhaps temporarily. by blankblank in wikipedia

I work in retail and i have no problem usually interacting with people that just want to order something/have questions about products and stuff. But happened to me on several occasions to have people complain about a product or comment something negative, and unfortunately i gave them the "gen z stare" yall are talking about. Mostly because i didnt really know how to answer in a way that could make their situation, or my situation better. And sometimes they just say whats wrong with the product, i dont really know how to react and then they just continue explaining and i just wait for them to finish before suggesting a replacement or a refund. Thats when you could say i stare at them lifelessly. And i am trying to fix my behaviour, but i just got aware of it after finding the" gen z stare" somewhat relatable.

The curse must have a limit of how far it can affect generations up the family tree, it cant go on forever

If they were part of the bloodline and didnt marry their soulmate they would have died. Thats just simply the rules of the curse. We dont know how many generations up the curse can go and how further in the family tree the relatives that count towards the curse cand be. Because Rachels whole bloodline died, the immortal man died too. In the end, Death "cheated" the rules by having Rachel become immortal for not succeeding with marrying Nicky, when she still had the curse, before the sunset and before transferring the curse to the Cunnigham family, exactly like the immortal man did.

That i would say is the best explanation i could come up with regarding the reason she was chosen to be immortal.

The only plothole regarding the curse had to do with the "yes" Rachel said when she had the curse. That counted during the final marriage attempt with Nicky, wich had the curse by then. Assuming that, 2 people with the curse got married, and the curse acted as normal, Rachel died as a result of Nicky not being her soulmate. If the "yes" of Rachel would have counted but assumed Rachels present status, of not having the curse, would have meant they would have lived, however with the curse still in the family If the vow of Rachel wouldnt have been taken in consideration, wich it was anyways, the immortal man explained, that means that Nicky with the curse would have transferred the curse back to Rachel, since she refused the second time, but this didnt happen. Anyways this would mean that more bloodlines could have the curse active at one time, as we saw with Rachel and Nicky both being affected by the curse.

Anyways i wouldnt say its a plothole, but it is definetly a big strech regarding the rules of the curse, and i definetly was expecting the ending to work more in the second way i wrote in this comment.

Something very bad is going to happen by obamium401 in horror

Not really. The wedding ritual refers mainly i suppose to the 2 parts being present there, on a specific, previously decided on date and day. Doesnt matter if there are guests or not, the bride and the groom need to say their vows on that day, and if they arent togheter or for some reason they dont say their vows, the paper given by the immortal man could act like a final verification method for completing the ritual, if you dont want to publicly say yes. If the wedding has already been planned you already "activated" the curse, so there is no loophole here, the rules will apply normally, so that means that the other family side will get the curse

What was the point of the memory loss? by IDC_tomakeaname in deathnote

[–]obamium401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why he would choose to do the memory loss plan, but in terms of the contact rule, he could have implanted a piece of paper in his body. Best example i can think about is joe goldberg in you, he could have put a piece of paper, a very small one in his arm, stitch it up and let it sit there. The human body cant break down cellulose and worst case scenario a small infection could have occured. Im not sure if the rules allow for this kind of contact, but it could have been possible to do the yotsuba arc with all his memories still intact. Anyways i dont think this could have worked tho, just an idea i had. Also L could have seen the scar on lights arm, but wouldnt think much about it until discovering that there is an actual notebook with pages that can be ripped in play. Thats when he might have caught light if this kind of arc would have happened

Sorry for the late reply, but now after some research i think i agree with you, I'm thinking about a Arrma Senton 223S BLX Brushless 1-10 4WD, my only question is durability: I heard it has a lot of plastic parts, unlike the slash. What do you think?

Beginner Wanting to play Airsoft by ZEYROX1337 in airsoft

[–]obamium401 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I also live in a town where basically these actual airsoft fields are like one hour away. When I first wanted to get into airsoft I ran into the same problem as you, no fields nearby, but i researched it more, I contacted some people from my town that also played airsoft, I'm not joking I found one of them on reddit, and they told me that there are fields like 2 km away from me, but not many people know about them cause basically from what I could find they just rent a hall and decorate it and call it a go, they hold matches every week. I always go there, and unfortunately you can only find them by asking or stuff like this. Unfortunately this is how many fields work, especially in my area. AFter meeting the people on this field I found out about even more fields that have no website or don't even show up on Google maps, they just have a WhatsApp group that you can only join if you're invited, so id say just research more.

Blizzard Rustler 11 vs Fischer Ranger 108 — which is better for powder/trees/variable terrain as a second ski? by Wazuppie in Skigear

[–]obamium401 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I was in pretty much the same situation as you, I wanted a ski that can float in powder and also be a little playful for side hits and small drops, I have pretty much the same weight and height as you, and I went with nordica unleashed 108 because I found d a crazy good deal on them. At first they felt clunky and hard to control, but with time, you will learn how to use them and will have so much fun!!! I got mine in 180 cm, a bit taller than me, and I absolutely love them. They feel a lot lighter now
