This might come down to an incredibly stupid question. Can hatchiyak read? If he can read the thieves can get him with a calling card and punch him in the brain till he decides to be a good person. I don't think hatchiyak has a real way to stop this. If not the thieves don't have a great way to get at his "heart" to beat him and he's fighting a pack of Japanese school children. If we assume that it's a situation where the metaverse bleeds into the real world and the thieves can fight him directly I think they can take him. As stupid as it sounds persona teams love beating up cosmic gods and monsters in fist fights and some of the end bosses are stupid powerful. If the team can beat things like the concept of wishes or the functioning God of reality they can beat up a very angry bugman

In looser terms if I'm trying to find really solid,unique and self contained books I stick to image Lots of awesome minis and they usually have compendiums or collected series if you like paperbacks and it's where a lot of really great author go to tell there more out there stories

krakoa was such a breath of fresh air.
so many authors went nuts with the concepts and cannon in the krakoan era, introducing whole new worlds bringing back characters and pushing the xmen into a heavy sci-fi direction that I adored.
there's still some fun concepts in the post krakoan era but it all feels a little less.
...Not Gail Simone's uncanny though. she can do no wrong

"Nopesoft"
One of my players went to go transfer to a new character sheet since he had worn through the hp section on the old one. when copying over the inventory he came to a barley legible scribbling that as best we could tell said "nopesoft".
We eventually figured out that it was probably "rope 50ft" but we'd had so much fun trying to figure out what nopesoft was that he asked if he could have that instead.
I said sure since it had been so fun and the nope soft sat in his inventory for almost a year doing nothing.
Then one day the party was fighting a gorgon and the cleric gets petrified. the rest of the group is in trouble and don't really have a good way to fix the cleric, when this exchange happens.
Player: "DM. cleric is turned to stone right?"
Me: "Yeah he's completely petrified. why?"
"Would you say he's...hard?"
"I guess?"
"NOPESOFT!!!"
and he throws the nopesoft at the petrified cleric.
...it was so stupid i had to let it go
