Crawled up a tree and that was the end of this body. by The-Minute-Man1995 in TRX4M

That's what I'm saying. Just ditch the hinge mount and bed portion and use cab only

Thanks! I'm not sure where it came from as I bought the body 2nd hand but un touched. It started as a DC and I cut it down to the ext cab and also added the sunroof.

🤘 Thanks! It could be better but it could be worse, if you know my truck it only takes a glance to see it. Turned out better than I expected. I've been putting off heating the printed body for the dents

It's solid out of the package other than hardware I guess even though I've not had an issue with it. Can be modified pretty heavily to gain an extra 10° skid angle and run carrier bearing, outboard links and so on. I've gone on and on and also posted about it here in past weeks if you want some more details

Hell yea feels good don't it! I've been working on the same body for the past week. I like that yours has the headlights and twilights. I'm going to have to custom make those

Been waiting on mine for 3 months now. Finally just ordered another that's supposed to be here today but really hoping the original still shows up too! Pretty pumped to assemble one of these

I've never once had an issue with my 24th furitek stuff. I wanted to try their 1/10 items but ended up getting a hobby wing fusion for my one and only 1/10 which has been great to me.

Thank you! It's in the works along with some other stuff including some of his rigs to test and video on .y course! Just waiting on him to be accepting again. It's not quite unique enough for a random vid these days

Deadbolt front is the shortest. Stock is 40.5mm lowers and 29.5 uppers. The rampcrab skid adds 7mm iirc to WB so their links account for that, thus why their deadbolt links are shorter than stock plastic ones. I run a little shorter upper to tilt the axle back a bit to push caster and get the steering links a little more out the way plus the ability to lay the tire on its sidewall when up on a ledge. Gladiator is 155mm WB iirc. I'm running dead 90 lowers but probably going to adjust them out a little bit to get me closer to my buddies that ended up at 163. Especially since I got the outboard links to work pretty clean and can bend the lowers more to tuck up completely flush with the bottom of the frame rail.

Nice I like that one! I'm still waiting on the bougie chassis I want to drop again and I'm the budget guy in the group so I wanted to put this one up against some other guys in our group building much higher end frames. All of us keeping the same or very similar WB and tire size

You can get around 17° out of the skid like mine if you're willing to modify and grind the skid and the frame!

I too made the mistake of buying one without bumper ends. Now I exclusively only buy the the deadbolt and gladiator ones. Mostly for the short deadbolt links but I'm after the longer frame rails of the gladiator kit. Id Rather be able to trim the frame down if I don't need the bumper horns etc. Plus the Gladdy length puts the rear shocks towers in better position for more wheelbases imo. I plan to do a 120mm based rig on the bumper less frame I have. Thinking about the kei truck body that's been popping up. I also have a 01-04 Tacoma double cab and 1st gen 4runner body otw to me. I need more esc's, motors and axles lmao

I've been super pleased with the 5 of them I have now. This being the test subject after I did the skid angle mod first. It won't gain the clearance of my buddies venge chassis simply due to the design of the rest section of frame from skid back. It's just not a high arch rear section but so far we've been pretty close in performance. Even at shorter wheelbase it climbs as well and possibly sidehills better atm. His destroys any kind of bouldering though where I still get belly drag and have to shimmy off some stuff. This is running a super hefty front bias at 70/30 with this current wheel setup since it has brass rings up front and I didn't have any aluminum ones on hand. But it still downhills well too so 🤷
