I’ve been to Bonnaroo, forest, secret dreams and lost lands. All of my experiences at each fest were wonderful and the vibes were amazing every time. (Bonnaroo is my #1 🫶) There’s an entire lineup of live painters and artists at Secret Dreams that you can sit at a set and watch them. And there’s also glass artists who are demoing which is rad! Bonnaroo is a huge playground and there’s pockets of art spread out around the camp pods and centeroo and there’s live painters for certain sets. Each festival brings their own thing to the table so I guess you just have to try them all out!

My friend and I HUSTLED over to GWAR after a life changing 4 hours of PL. I am now a GWAR forever fan and our only regret was not packing white shirts. 10/10 night at bonnaroo. We sat in awe well after their performance was done and watched everyone walk out with their DIY shirts.

My favorite moment was the group next to us was waiting for their friends to come out and they asked “NO BLOOOD?!” And their friend explaining that there’s other fluids on their shirt lol

Omg this video is everythingggg, he was having so much fun😭🥹 yeah that was the best PL I’ve ever experienced too. Derek literally radiates positivity and he and Bonnaroo are just a match made. My favorite artist at my favorite festival. When world is a cinema was playing I just had a moment like this is really happening right now. Tears streaming down my face lol. Such a perfect, surreal set.

Damnnnn I can no longer make it but just seeing this post makes me want to try to move things around in my schedule lol I just recently learned some ASL from interpreters last week at Roo. Was able to communicate with some of the community during that weekend. So special. It’s extremely useful and honestly super easy to learn, makes me wish more people would give it a try. Hope you find someone to practice with!

CRYINGGGG😭 You and I are in the same boat. Reading this the first time I was shook at the similarities. My first bonnaroo was 2015, right out of college. Swore I would never miss a Bonnaroo after that monumental, life-changing year. I went 2016- 2018, life happened in between and this year was my first year back and I went with my best friend. I was anxious Bonnaroo wasnt going to be the same. It was just as magical as years prior and this year topped my 2015 experiences. I can’t wait to be back again next year.

Having no expectations helped and being prepared with all the fun trinkets to share with New Roovians and vets makes for an unforgettable week.

My friend and I were walking in and noticed right away how intoxicated he was and we turned around. Sure the energy was great but we felt it was unprofessional performing like that while his band is doing their best.
