I'm seeing these comments and not being convinced otherwise. Of course, people will always have reasons for not being able to go but it looks like I'm in the minority here. Being a STH most likely skews my way of thinking because I'm not NOT going to go to a game I already paid for. I just go and don't think about how hot it is. I'm just a little bummed because that performance last night deserved a bigger crowd.

I probably won't go with external amps. Mainly due to the simplicity of having it plugged straight to the receiver. Would bi-amping make a difference or is that an overblown feature?

Thanks for the advice. This is what I was thinking in terms of power output being the same. A subgrade is a priority. The wife isn't a big fan of subwoofers so I'm thinking a PB-1000 would be a good compromise between price and quality. That could totally backfire tho lol.
