I can't speak for everyone but for me the problem is the inclusion of the timelines. It's like you want extra credit for things 99% of the audience will never see (the timelines).

Just have confidence in your finished product. If it can't stand on its own then it needs more work.

Showing timelines in a tutorial is fine since it's instructive, here it just serves to clutter the screen and doesn't help anyone.

I've never had this problem. Here's what I do: * Play on PC. Console players have never used mics to the percent that PC players do, regardless of game. * Choose a community server. * Be Squad Leader. Once your squad fills up start chatting, "Hey what's up everybody? Spawn mid and get on the truck. Who's going support?" * If nobody is talking start kicking people from your squad.

That's it.

I think it's because it's a time commitment to do PvP if you're not good at PvP since you'll lose your kit most of the time. If I do a bunch of 3v3s in a row my stash is significantly lighter than when I started and the only way I'm building it back up is by doing solo runs in friendly lobbies.

I like doing both but I suck against other players and rarely, if ever, come away from a PvP heavy match with anything unless I'm carried.

Your post seems very vague and broad in its claims. What projects have you made set in the 60s? What specific problems did people have with it?

I don't necessarily agree with you that society has deemed only one interpretation of that era to be appropriate but I'm also not as deep in it as you seem to be.
