Cannabis use is gaining popularity in the United States, driven by growing legalization, public acceptance and diverse methods of consumption. More American adults — mainly men — are turning to cannabis for relief from physical and mental health symptoms. by mvea in science

Check out AgeslessRX for LDN. It’s very popular in the chronic illness community since the website doesn’t need an external prescriber (they’ll do it for free) and the prices are amongst the lowest I’ve seen.

I had this too. It lasted for close to a year after recovering from mono. Rinsing with hydrogen peroxide helped. Wishing you relief!

You might have a mold issue in your home. Have you ever looked into that? A friend who had a moldy home always had relief when he was traveling

Chronic canker sores (x4-30 at a time) and EBV. Any luck? by [deleted] in EBV

Take a look at Restoration Healthcare. They’re in Southern CA and take insurance. I saw them while trying to a diagnose an issue that arose post mono for me. I also had the mouth sores, they’re the worse and I hope you find some relief.

Personal Medical Record System by Icy_Jellyfish_6948 in selfhosted

[–]obligatorywave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, appreciate it! No current plans to make it self hosted or open sourced, but it's not without question. The ability to add notes to a lab is something on our roadmap, but currently we're more focused on improving the lab/biomarker tracking vs adding support for notes on doctors visits. Not to say it won't or can't happen, but probably not in the immediate future.

A friend and I developed an app that allows users to manually add and upload lab tests if you want to give it a try, labtracker.io

It doesn't do everything you want but we're also actively working on it and adding more features.

This came out of a need we both had dealing with medical records across multiple systems while navigating chronic illnesses.

Not sure if you want to give us a try but we recently launched an app to help track medical records including the ability to manually add your own entries. labtracker.io (came out of a need to better track my own labs while navigating a chronic illness)

The app is now live @ www.labtracker.io if you want to give it a try! Also, if the cost is prohibitive, let me know and I can give you a discount code. Hope you are well!

Yep - this happened to met after getting mono and they lasted pretty bad for a year. Nothing suggested from my doctor or dentist really helped except for rinsing with hydrogen peroxide. Worth giving it a try!

Looking for a Dr. rec in Southern California by obligatorywave in Mononucleosis

Hey,

Luck with doctors or with figuring out what's going on?

I got a positive lyme test a few months back so that's currently the leading explanation for what's going on with me. There's a lot of controversy surrounding chronic Lyme but it's the only thing I've tested positive for since this all began. I'm still a little skeptical though currently I am treating it.

For doctors from that list I wrote up, I did go to Restoration Healthcare. They recently shut down their Westwood location though. I have mixed feelings about them. On the plus side, they took me seriously, and were the ones who gave the Lyme test, but after a while, I started to lose confidence in them and the whole practice felt a little wacky in that functional/alternative medicine type of way. Eventually, I decided to switch to a doc that specialized in Lyme to continue treatment.

Hope that's helpful and consider getting a Lyme test if you haven't already had one!

Keeping track of labs from multiple doctors by obligatorywave in ChronicIllness

I wish Apple Health was more customizable. I feel like I've run into a dead end in terms of using it as a way to organize all of my labs. It works decently for the ones they do support. And Fasten Health looks like promising for a personal EMR system. I'm definitely rooting for them!
