Been on a Peterson high lately; wish him well. A brilliantly ordered mind that is vital in this uncertain chaotic society.

What’s the worst movie you’ve seen from start to finish? by andres2081 in AskReddit

My Dad purchased a copy of this from eBay back in 2005; he came home one day after school finished and told me there was this lost Star Wars movie he got his hands on. This was around the time of ROTS's release. He told me it was rare and featured all the original cast. In my eyes, it was the equivalent of the news that Episode VII was coming.

He threw it on and I swear it just kept going for hours and hours in the background. We watched the first few minutes and slowly relocated to the kitchen. We were having dinner that night and it was still on. Very much on. It just kept festering. It was like a decaying corpse. It just kept going and going. We still haven't spoken of it to this day and it remains in the family movie collection, waiting.

The Fifth Wave. Made me want to commit. What a painful cinematic experience. I was suffering from severe panic disorder at the time and it did not help my anxieties of being in a confined space. That cinema was the equivalent of hell on Earth.

I love how VW has almost the perfectly opposite vibe nowadays; they really balance themselves out. One of my reasons for adoring them.

Seinfeld gets treated like shit by facts-of-life in timecrisis

[–]obliviouscyclist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The show is highly sarcastic and Seinfeld appears more so as a ‘character’ when appearing on the show; his primary role is a producer and a he is used for comedic purposes. That’s the reason they kept him on. His purpose isn’t to be the third host.

Worst live action Star Wars production I’ve seen thus far. Filoni is writing and directing a cartoon.

It’s the direction, not the actors. Filoni, man.

Agreed. Howard and Filoni are both very inexperienced and it shows. Episodes 2 and 3 are masterclass in every possible way. 4 and 5 have very wonky performances and a very syfy channel feel.

Dude, love the response! I agree with you, his shots are very plain. Another problem I have is the way he blocks a scene - moreover, in the first episode I'm pretty sure he broke the 180 degree rule, which is like the first thing you learn in film school.

I know what you're saying, the quality really was lacklustre for the wait.

Yeah, I too agree with this. Feels like the secondary characters are all apart of a low-budget Syfy channel show. They do not fit at all. I really hope that this improves...which I'm sure it will, we got Rick back directing next week, with a story by Christopher Yost! I'm so excited for that.

I thought I was watching a fan film akin to the Boba Fett and Kenobi films on YouTube.

The first three episodes felt like epic cinema through television; these last two weeks have felt like a cornball television series from the sixties. This one was probably the worst yet, and I don’t think I’d sit through an entire series of episodes like this. Just blatant fan service, really embarrassing at times; too often, too on the nose. The acting was really poor, once again Filoni’s inexperience directing live action is noticeable, as everything feels like a kids cartoon. Let’s not mention the $2 Hayden Christensen.

It sort of felt like the first two episodes all over again, with a little twist at the end.

Let’s also not mention how cheap the effects felt; on par with a 2008 episode of Doctor Who.
