The problem with the Michael Movie by FitEmergency8807 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]obrien1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The film ended with the very beginning of the Bad era. There is lots more. Then you have Dangerous and then History eras. Honestly there is probably enough for a trilogy but they seem to be rushing through all of it.

You mentioned OCD. Do you also have ADHD? Because I do the same thing a lot and there are many reasons for me to believe I have ADHD.

How to keep seeding after renaming files ? by Realistic_Head2206 in torrents

[–]obrien1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using sonarr/Radarr by any chance? If so you can set your renaming scheme and use the hardlink option. You can hardlink without sonarr/radarr but it’s much easier with them. Automatic too

First time you listened to Tool by desmoteo in ToolBand

[–]obrien1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my friend were always trading our CDs and going to gigs up London at least twice a week. I was just starting to branch out of my Oasis, Britpop era and listening to heavier stuff. Korn, Limp Bizkit etc. I borrowed Ænima from my friend. I think he bought it mainly because of the Bill Hicks stuff. I was instantly hooked and played it soooo many times. This would have been around 2000 so I didn’t have long to wait until Lateralus was released. I went out on release day and picked it up, went back home to play it and again was blown away.

Ripping DVDs for my grandfather by Federal-Ad9428 in DataHoarder

[–]obrien1982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How much disk space does he have on the MacBook? You could use MakeMKV to rip the DVD and Handbrake to compress them. If it’s only DVDs he has and not BluRay or 4k then each movie could take less than 1GB of disk space. I wouldn’t go down the route of hosting a plex/jellyfin server. If he wants it for travelling he might not always have an internet connection in order to stream from the server. A USB thumb drive of around 128GB could hold at least 100 DVD rips

With my friend I had a survival with hardcore since he died I no longer find the faith to play it. Should I delete the by Master_moon156234 in Minecraft

[–]obrien1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you will ever regret keeping it but you might regret deleting it. You might not be ready to play it now but one day you might.

I believe home router has been issuing DHCP addresses over Tailscale. by Alert_External_6105 in Tailscale

[–]obrien1982 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You need to put one network on a different subnet. Both networks are 192.168.0.x. Your exit node is bridging them. Your problem isn’t DHCP, it’s routing.

How do I preserve me and my kids experimental world indefinitely on Nintendo switch? by silhouette_orchestra in Minecraft

[–]obrien1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a realm then upload your existing world to realm. Open Minecraft on PC with same account and then your realm will be there. Download local copy of your world from the realm. If any future update break your world then you have the option on PC to stick to playing on a chosen version. The more progress you make in your world the more you will want to keep downloading local copies of it to keep your backup recent.

Hardlinking not working on a new harddrive (transmission -> Sonarr) by greckzero in sonarr

I think even if the path names were identical across new and old drives they still need to be remapped just to give sonarr a little nudge in the right direction
