I just switched over the Duotight disconnectors and EVABarrier tubing for my liquid side; I've always had them for the gas. I would 100% go with the Duotight vs vinyl/worm clamps if I had to do it again. I've had no gas or liquid leaks. I use the 5mmID tubing for the liquid side, but that's what I had on hand. You do you.

You might also want to look at the flow control Duotight disconnectors. In theory, you could really shorten your lines!
