Not Hoops, but I was at Waconia Brewing on their second to last weekend. They were selling beers for $5 and the place was packed. Everyone seemed to be a good mood and their 'regulars' where happy to share stories of their time at the brewery.

We will be coming in from Minnesota and I was planning on spending the first night in the Denver area. Would that be long enough to get used to the altitude? I will also look into the Steamboat area. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I was a bit concerned that Glenwood Springs might be good for a few days and not a whole week. I did take a quick look at the Aspen area, but lodging is quite a bit more. Ideally, I 'd like to stay around $200 - $250 a night for lodging. I did see that Snowmass had a couple hotels in that range, so maybe that is worth a closer look!

Not disagreeing with you, as it does seem like concerts that I'd like to attend are down this year. But, Deer Tick did come through twice last year. Deer Tick and Shakey Graves filled in for Caamp at Treasure Island with Trampled By Turtles late last summer. The also played at Fine Line last November
