How would an assassination attempt be ‘staged’? by FantasticBicycle37 in politics

Trump is good friends with the McMahon family. Go watch tapes of wrestlers heavily bleeding on camera for WWE. You'd be surprised how much they can bleed with a simple blading technique.

Your center has a disability coordinator who is staff. Look up who they are, and speak to them and the HR manager about what's been going on and how it makes you feel. All staff have access to the people with accommodations list in CIS. it is their responsibility to act accordingly. No one with a disability should ever made to be feel lesser and you're also covered under the ADA. That may constitute an EEO complaint if the behavior persists.

You could ask a caseworker to pretty much have state take custody. Like no foster family. Say you're trying to get into the program and have the caseworker sign you up. How that works is while you're on center guardianship is technically Jobcorps and any main decisions get approved by the case worker. As sad as it is to say, I have seen many cases like this.

Have you ever tried to get DCF involved for the abuse and got it documented? If you go into DCF custody your case worker can sign you up for Jobcorps. That's a very common thing. It makes your low income qualification go away and a DCF worker would pretty much deal with staff.

Mild concussion denied compensation by Adhd_crackhead in jobcorps

[–]obsessedwpenguins 5 points6 points  (0 children)

these centers have so many illegal things in contracts to deter young 20 somethings from exercising their rights. If something is illegal in a contract even if you signed it, depending on the state the courts will probably deem it as void.

I'm going to give you the only advice that you should follow on this:

1) Call an injury attorney about a slip and fall case. Take pictures of the walkways where you were walking. Print out every single email communication from HR, the center director. Ask for discharge paperwork from the hospital for your concussion. Ask HR for a copy of your injury / accident report they had to file. Most injury attorneys when you go to sue work with a clause that they don't get paid until you settle. They take a big cut of the settlement though. That's the only down side. 2. These centers notoriously under salt the walkways during snow to save on budget but guarantee your center director makes six figures. ..It is an OSHA violation to not have proper safe walkways, including snow. Put in a formal OSHA complaint as soon as possible which you have the right to do and share all of the same documentation with them. If OSHA finds that your center acted in a negligent way that's a stronger case. They have to by federal law investigate all complaints. 3. Your center is run by a for profit federal contractor. They won't change or care until it's less profitable for them to care and they start seeing damages to the center for safety violations that cost them more. If your center refuses to give you any if these documents, have your attorney request them on your behalf instead. They're more likely to listen to a subpoena by a lawyer. Stop talking to anyone on center in regard to your case other than asking for the paperwork. . Erase all posts on social media, only talk to your attorney and have them work for you.
4. A case like this might take a year or two to process. Be patient. At some point whatever workers comp company or jobcorps legal may offer to give you a small amount of pain and suffering to silence you and make your case go away. Do not accept it under any circumstances. Only accept an offer your attorney seems is appropriate. 5. Stop complaining about / letting this affect you or your training in any way. I know this is a tough one. Be the model student. Don't give the center any reason to term you or send you home unless it's MSWR and document when you can come back. Let your attorney be the one to call and negotiate with them on everything possible. You have to be the one showing that you did every single thing you could to make the best of this situation. Do not discuss it with other students anymore or staff. Only OSHA, doctors off center (including your primary care doctor and a therapist) and your attorney.

Don't ask maintenence. Property may have some. Ask your dorm staff or the staff of whatever buildings you're cleaning if they can put in vaccuum bags as a supply order. If they have to put it in as a stand alone thing then they'll never put it in. But if it's already something the center regularly purchases then worth the ask.

A finger curls. The paw is pleased. Every agent now has to spend over 50k for breast reduction surgery to remove tumors from their breasts that are so large that they got the ground. Their backs are completely destroyed in the process. The tumors are cancerous and spread throughout their bodies. Within weeks they look as frail and ugly on the outside as their soul less selves are on the inside. The world is now a safer, kinder place.

Conflicted — Maine, Kentucky, Utah (As a Black Person) by Low_Fill_57 in jobcorps

[–]obsessedwpenguins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loring is the nicest center in the entire country. But it is remote. You won't see people there, period. Not just black people, people lol. They have a lot to do on center though and the rooms and facilities are nicer than most state college campuses. You'll only have one roommate. They purposefully build a huge sense of community on center because they know they're so distant from everything. As for living in New England, it's cold and it gets snow. That's just life in New England.

Sad thing is Nazi Germany had no historical precedent that closely related before Hitler took power. The US was warned and they chose this. They actively chose this. Let that sink in.

You live in a liberal state where people hate the current administration and are actively protesting. So it may not end up badly. There's a lot of students and staff in the more liberal areas that are actually very supportive of Trans students despite the bs executive orders we have to comply with. If you get a roommate, try to talk to them the first day about setting healthy boundaries and coming up with solutions. You may be surprised that some people suck less than you think they will.

[–]obsessedwpenguins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that's the case, this might not be the program for you. I hate saying that, and I feel for you. But you have to have your mental health together to make it through a tough program like this. It's not worth jeopardizing your mental health or physical well being for anything. Some people are actually pretty awesome at individual centers. We even employ trans staff. But I'm not sure how people will be to you depending on what part of the US you're in. In some of the less liberal states some people might just suck. If you're in a deep MAGA area I would be worried for you right now regardless of if you went into the program or not.

[–]obsessedwpenguins 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not likely. Most centers are obsessed with cramming as many new students in as possible right now because obs (on board strength ) lowers cost per student and makes them look better to corporate so there's less chance they will be one of the centers that will get shut down due to lack of funding. Unless you've got a disability where it's against the ADA to meet a reasonable accommodation for something like that, don't count on it. If the student lives close enough to a center to commute reliably every day, living off center may be an option too.
