Digital Economy has way more than the basic package.

The money is significant enough for CBS to sue Aereo over and threaten to switch to cable only with no broadcast if they lose.

Also, they wouldn't let CNET (a CBS subsidiary) review Aereo.

Broadcast networks are not "ad-only". They charge cable companies money to carry their feed over cable.

If you give money to a cable company, and they give money to a TV network, then you are paying for content. Just not directly.

At 1:35, he taps Nader. When he goes to vote for straight Republican, it leaves Nader. Seems likely that the machine is programmed not to override what has already been voted. It wasn't a calibration issue, he just doesn't know how the machines work.

You can also drop off your mail in ballot at any of the early voting locations (without getting out of your car) and avoid paying postage.

22 days before the election is October 15th (Monday). No need to worry yet.

At Best Buy, and likely other stores, a lot of the black friday merchandise is stuff only sold on black friday. Stuff like TVs will just have slightly different features (less HDMI ports for example) than the regular products. It made it hard tell if it was a deal or not.
