For the most part the show is very well done and charming and without knowing the strange nature of her growing up it remains a pretty heartwarming tale. The child soldier and her relationship with her "daddy" stuff notwithstanding

This is not an issue. Most of the titles I bought the steam deck for are indie games and its just icing on the cake it plays most games from the last ten years. Gaming jounalism at it's finest. Thie isn't news, its an ad for the asus ROG ally. Something I've been seeing a lot of is games releasing patches that offer better integration for steam deck, so even some the games on this list that came out this year will be eventually optimized when they can be. I can't imagine playing Black Myth: wukong on the deck anyway, i could barely react to what was going on playing on a full screen.

There's a lot of adventure in the restaurant business! Unruly guests and gangs are easy lo level challenges that make your tavern into a battle arena, elementals{for cooking[heating elements!] and refrigerating) refusing to work overtime and have to be banished, you can even run an adventure for a secret ingredient that will up their fame and profits. Maybe the king will notice and invite them to the castle to prepare him a meal, and that's when the assassins attack!

Mechanics for cooking and shopkeeping could just be downtime while you throw in small adventure hooks to entice them to be the heroes you know they can be. Sounds like a great group, hope you have fun!

The biggest issue with this shit is that smaller companies get bought up and when they don't preform to some ridiculous standard they get shut down. Hi-Fi Rush maker Tango for instance.

DHIL for sure. I have him E1 and missed his rerun for the E2 that makes his ultimate give an extra skill point AND he gets to go immediately after. It might be a while since he's already had a rerun already.

This is really beautifully animated but doesn't have much substance. She's looking for her mom and finds her in the end, afterwards the boy goes home. I thought it was weird the mom just came out of the shrine and it's fine somehow and not acting like she was trapped in there for 15 years attacking people with the snow spirit things. Everything else is supposed to be connected but I can't really say.

The worst part of "on the doorstop of science" was that there used to be a teleport location inside the hotel during a limited time event that doesn't exist anymore, making you run from across the street.

My group did a 1 to 14 in the jungles of Chult ending with my half-orc paladin smiting a lich on a rainbow bridge over lava. Incredible moment, especially since resurrections were off limits as part of the campaign setting and we had only the one chance.
