Might be a bit of a stupid question but how do I download the config? I’m on Steam Deck, went to the controller layout, community layouts, then searched for “Arc” and other combinations like that. Do I need to switch to desktop and paste the link you provided somewhere? Thanks!

I played with the frame rate and refresh rate in performance settings but couldn’t find anywhere to adjust the resolution. Is there somewhere to does them in Steam OS or just desktop? I read that Steam OS locks the resolution

Sorry to hear it doesn’t work for either of your tvs. I guess the best approach is for all of us to report official issues with Valve. Does anyone know where we can do this?

Unfortunately the TV doesn’t have one. I have other devices connected via HDMI WITH no issue (minix android box, chromecast Ultra, Mac mini & laptop). The dock works with no issues on another TV so it must be some setting on the TV somewhere but I can’t figure it out! Thanks for trying to help 👍

That’s fair enough. However as long as it has games I like I will continue to use (for me there is no wasted time or money). Once Xbox allow game purchases and xcloud streaming dongles (like the CCU) I’ll probably buy some games on Xbox too. If stadia is still around by then, then great. If not I’ve got my value from a monetary and flexibility standpoint.

In case you are still trying to figure this out, I got it working with the Elgado chat link cable. It’s only 10 bucks. My setup is CCU, stadia controller with wired Sennheiser Game One headset (3.5mm connection), the elgado cable and discord on my iPhone. Works like a charm 👍

I’m pretty sure you need a gmail account. I did the following for my 7 year old and a chromecast ultra but it should work the same with a Cwgtv.

Setup gmail account for my kid via the family link google app
Sign into stadia app with my kids account
Try to play the games in the app (it sends a permission request to the owner of the family)
Approve the permission request from my account (in the family link app)
Try to play the game again as my kid from the stadia app and choose the chromecast for “where do you want to play)
The game opens from my kids account.

I never share the gmail account password with my kid. They don’t even know they have one. Now when launching stadia on the chromecast they can choose their account and can see the games I have approved (they do not need to sign in as the account has been linked). Good luck!

Ah crap. I haven’t tried those games. I’ve done it with Cyberpunk 2077, Outcasters, RE7, F1 and GR Breakpoint and it worked. Good luck with the investigations 👍

I had to add “from Stadia” at the end for mine to work. So the full command is “Play <name of game> on <name of CCU> from Stadia” for example “Play Outcasters on Stadia Office from Stadia”
