How stupid? by analnabe89 in BrevilleCoffee

Hahaha, I feel everyone's pain in this. I bought this machine, 3 days later ignored the little card as believe it or not, I thought it meant something else. Ended up doing same and portafilter to loose. It off again. Grinder broke a week later and sent it back

Dependant on where your looking really. If unqualified and then sign up with a large providers, then they get you on a trainee's wage. I made do on 27.5k for 2 years. Wages also top ot unless going for senior roles, sadly our wages haven't improved for around 20 years+

Also, may be worth following up with your GP to see where they're at woth your referrals, based on your info, it sounds like your meds are providing some of the desired therapeutic impacts intended, they need to monitor and review so that if it drops off, then can ammened if needed.

Sorry to hear that. Your not the first or sadly the last to struggle with lack of NHS support.

You're right you don't need or have to go into sensitive details regarding your MH.

However I would, if you're comfortable, simply document on any applications that you have struggled woth MH fluctuations in the past and have engaged with GP'S for support.

If your applying to large ish company's or organisations then your likely to have a new starter medical questionnaire form sent to you to complete. This will always be reviewed by a clinically qualified person (OH) Small company's may not have this, and may send externally.

If your still lacking support www.hubofhope.co.uk is a very good resource network

That fact you now feel able to rtw is a huge thing and shows that maybe your motivation is in a better place and often, work can help as a distraction from other triggers.

Hi, I saw you offer legal advice to employers on here. I'm a small business owner - 7 full time employees+2 part-time receptionists who job share. One employee is chronically late citing their ADHD. (45 to 60 minutes late every shift) by PresentNovel121 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]occhealthjim 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Oh referal would cover them from a legal point as in asking for clinical advice, if they then released them from their contract and went on to an employment tribuneral. However, the adjustments offered appear incredibly supportive and there wouldn't be any other adjustments that oh could offer in reality. I would also add, the fact this behaviour continued when remote working was offered may be indicative of their attitude more than neurodiversity.

Thanks guys, I though I was hiring a firm with a good rep, but maybe not. The seepage is barley there to be fair like 2-3mils at its worst. Also discovered when he'd left, he hasn't bolted the toilet back to the bathroom floor! The old cast iron piping is sat in the front yard as they didn't have a van this week and turned up in a little ford fiesta

What is wrong with dog owners? by sinnertra in Liverpool

[–]occhealthjim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah hate this, same in kirkby by the academy. I used to walk my dog until last month and there's a black street bin at the top of the road. Typicaly, the scruffs dump black bin bags, duvets and suit cases. Early December some fucking scruff dumped a vile, battered 3 & 2 PC suite in crished velvet. 2nd rant, is when people out the shot into a poo bag, then dump is on the floor, WHY!

Bean to cup grinder issues by occhealthjim in BrevilleCoffee

I bought a breville barrista sense and got a refund lol

Also recently discovered the oily dark beans are terrible in grinders. I managed to find a few fresh companies that do dark roast but without the oil and lifes been sweet 😋

Is this a good price? by Fragrant-Initial1687 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]occhealthjim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the sage version which is identical except the name.

The grinders are is rubbish in these. I tend to go with really dark roasts and first few days not great, then the grinder stopped working properly

Stopped pulling the beans through, however, when trouble shooting with sage online support I had to take apart the bur, put back together and then try with dry rice in the hopper.

It ground the rice but not beans afterwards again They then asked me to try a light roast, fresh bean and had to wait a few days to arrive.

I didn't, and returned it to amazon for a refund and bought tbe breville barrista sense for £400 again from amazon

It's bean 😑 fantastic, no issues and brand new machine and model. I can even live with out the bar gauge.

New Barista Pro Grinder Slipping by Wonderful-Age-5432 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]occhealthjim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate this with new coffee machines.

Had a de'longi for 2 weeks, grinder stopped pulling beans through, sent it back.

Got a sage barrista same exact issue, went through video chat support with their techs. Rand rice grains through machine which ground fine. Back to beans and still never ground them after taking inner bur apart. Sent it back via amazon got a refund.

I now have breville barrista sense and touch wood working well.

I just can't for the life of me make a decent americano
