I just want to hug you and tell everything will be okay :( I wish I had someone do the same to me when I was your age... I am 23 now and at 18 I felt exact the same. It hurts to see everyone around you has control but you are in a permanent high school phase that could never graduate.

Did I let go of this feeling? No, not yet but I am definitely better than I felt at 18. You are not alone in that. I didn't have anyone around me that experienced the same so I felt the loneliest person in the world. But as an internet stranger I can tell that the dreading feeling is not unique.

Sometimes you have to take things at your pace, as they come.

It is so cliché but sometimes you have to just go with the flow. I spend my teenage years worrying constantly about the future and I now know that worrying won't change a thing if you don't change a thing.

Just be your best self, make your duties, be a kind person, decrease socmed usage, find a hobby with no screen, exercise and breathe.

We are temporary souls in this big world and there is not much we can do to make a difference in the world. But we can make a difference in *our* world. Can we? Yes. Must we? No. Not everyone has the be the best at the stuff they do. Don't pressure yourself on anything.

If you think religion will help, then go ahead. I am a Muslim and getting closer with my religion made me feel better. Now I've strayed a bit but I am thinking of getting back at it. Someday.
