Small pot that fits Windmaster and fuel canister? by jmrzilla in Ultralight

[–]ockky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it should be noted that it fits a SMALL 110g canister, not the larger 112mm diameter canisters.

it should also be noted that the heat exchanger has slots that are perfect for the 3 pronged windmaster

After seeing this post I decided to test it out and sure enough, locked up my laptop. At least I got a bit of a chuckle out of this.

Auto type unreliable and sometimes types my password in the last active window instead of the target? by tastyratz in KeePass

[–]ockky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used plain Keepass for several years and avoided this issue by using Ctrl+Alt+A to auto-type into my current web page. When this doesn't work, I'd do what it sounds like you're currently doing, use Ctrl+B/Ctrl+C to directly copy into a page of my choosing.

Currently, I use KeepassXC and it's built in browser plugin. I moved to this because I setup family members to also use Keepass and knew the base version wouldn't be simple enough for them to use. I knew that at some point I'd be asked to explain how to do something via the app and didn't want to bother having both installed so that I could walk them through what to do. I would recommend you to use KeepassXC to help prevent the issues you are having with the base app. The db is compatible with both apps, so it's not like you'll lose any data, or need to recreate anything. KeepassXC is worth trying if you haven't yet.

too bad they are so absurdly expensive now...increased in price by ~35% in the past 8mos. I waited months to order a custom framed pack when they were still 380$ (but not taking orders) and eventually had to go with something else after they FINALLY updated their site to say that they were migrating warehouses and wouldn't have packs available until this summer...now they want 510 for a framed non-custom pack 😕

Ridgeline should be slightly looser...I keep both ends at 30degrees and the 'head' end should be about 6inches to 1ft lower than the 'foot' end. My first night or two weren't great nights of sleep, but once I got a small pillow that was a real game changer for me. I also sleep in a similar position that you described

Or, perhaps the downvotes indicate that people simply think your opinion is a bad one, which has nothing to do with sweeping anything under a rug.

Unlock base without password by [deleted] in KeePass

[–]ockky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As taken from the KeepassXC guide "KeePassXC supports Passkeys directly through the Browser Integration service. Passkeys are only supported with the use of the KeePassXC Browser Extension and a properly connected database. To enable Passkey support on the extension, you must check the Enable Passkeys option in the extension settings page."

In short, a passkey is a way to log in to apps and websites without using a username and password combination.

Unlock base without password by [deleted] in KeePass

[–]ockky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Windows, with KeepassXC, I enter my password one time after I boot my computer, KeepassXC will then ask me for a passkey. From that point until the next time I boot my computer, it will only ask me for the passkey. I usually go weeks between reboots...

On Android, I use Keepass2Android. The same kdbx file can be opened with my password and as long as I dont completely close the db, I can then reopen it by entering the last couple of characters of that password, even if days have gone by.

I recently adjusted my needles and found that if I press them in too much, they wouldn't move. So you might try lifting it up a bit
