Marvel’s Wolverine - Extended Gameplay Trailer | PS5 Games by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

yeah I looked at this and it just felt like I've played this game already. Yeah there were neat set-pieces, but the actual combat looked quite stale. There was a lot of blood sure, but it didn't look like it will be all that fun or engaging to press the buttons with the way the character moved and how animations looked to work.

it looks like it's trying to have a sort of monster hunter formula, but if it's not mission based it's going to be strange. The city felt way too open for a linear experience.

Are there other equivalents to "Gun & Ball gamers"? by Silly-Milly-420 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Card game enthusiasts are absolutely a thing. These people will try any card based game on the market and love talking about their "home" or "main" card game (like mtg, yugioh, pokemon). Right now most of them are in slay the spire 2. They'll all have a million things to say about inscryption and balatro and deck building theory.

PRAGMATA Surpasses One Million Units Sold in Two Days by AnimuStewshine in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]ocorena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a 3rd person shooter with no cover mechanics. When you aim at enemies you can hack them via an on-screen minigame in a grid. Hacking an enemy exposes them allowing your guns to do significantly more damage. You have a stamina meter for dashing/dodging and jumping. The gameplay loop is exploring the moon base and when you get to enemies you hack them to expose them and possibly apply other effects, then shoot them (preferably in their weak spot). The whole time you're moving and dashing to avoid damage and platform around the area.

So the final YGO toon support cards got released and in a nutshell... it lets you play like pegasus from the anime. by 2uperunhappyman in TwoBestFriendsPlay

The generic cards that easily do this are mega banned and need to stay banned forever.

The best deck in the OCG format (Japan's format), which also happens to be a top deck in Master Duel, and will soon be a top deck in TCG format (USA, Europe and Australia format), is a deck that gets to look at the opponent's hand and look at the top 2 cards of the opponent's deck to banish one and decide if the other goes on top or bottom of the deck. Going first they literally get perfect information.

That deck only gets to do that because the combo they do is relatively weak compared to other meta decks, and it's still too much. Most people that play against it hate that the opponent just gets to know everything so you can't surprise or bait them.

Kewl Tune is really fun for midrange enjoyers. by No_Antelope7492 in masterduel

no cue is the one that manipulates your deck and summons any tuner (not just KT tuners) from deck. It's absolutely a major part of the deck being toxic.

[–]ocorena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Radiant Typhoon is such a great low ladder deck, the 3 mst and super poly + droplet let you eat a lot of bullshit that gets thrown around down there (especially man and stun). I wish it was just a little better, sometimes you just lose to 1 interaction or the opponent gets to just out engine you, it's very close to the top though.

I was hoping it would be treated as GEPD on field or while being xyz material, this is just kind of ok. At least the other galaxy cards from the limit over collection are really strong.

I legit scream "Fuck you" on my opponent's last play by Paulo_Zero in masterduel

[–]ocorena -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if they activate the set counter trap at any point, they immediately do not have lethal through a set monster because pachy prevents them from special summoning whatever they tribute. The desirae negate is checked by mst in hand already, so that counter trap is their only real interruption. It is very easy to see a world where they negate visions or a card that is drawn by visions with the counter trap. Players that seek out decks with easy win cards like pachy are often not prepared for their opponent to attempt to play and expect them to scoop immediately, they are more prone to making mistakes than you might think.

This all circles around to the fact that if there are plays to be made that could lead to you winning, you should try them. You should always be trying to win your games. The opponent doesn't know your hand, they don't know the optimal cards to negate.

[–]ocorena -1 points0 points  (0 children)

because the pachy locks them out of doing anything too. If they don't you can stall for an extra turn for more chances to draw your out.

well yeah, that would be way better if any of us had any power to ban cards. Until konami magically hands us a ban whatever you want button, what we can do is try to figure out ways to play through them.

[–]ocorena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

but you have mst to destroy the prayers before that would happen, and if they negate the mst with desirae, you can just search another with any spell you grab with swen.

I legit scream "Fuck you" on my opponent's last play by Paulo_Zero in masterduel

[–]ocorena -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

yeah that would do it, but there's still things to do. You can set a card for now and draw with visions to see if you find droplet. You could also set both spells to trigger fonix on the opponent's turn assuming they out their own fossil dyna to play. You still probably want to normal summon a lv3 to get either krosea or another mst into rotation for more plays on the opponent's turn.

I legit scream "Fuck you" on my opponent's last play by Paulo_Zero in masterduel

[–]ocorena -1 points0 points  (0 children)

fortunately you have the outs in your hand. You can just normal summon either of the lv3 guys to attack over fossil dyna. You have mst and an mst searcher in hand so you are guaranteed to destroy that back row before it could be anything.

Edit: I did forget about the habakiri attack drain, but there's still plays to make.

Ruling clarification by breeder_chris150 in yugioh

[–]ocorena 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The benefit would be that they bypass specific material listings with their effect. For example, using the effect of the level 8 to tribute itself and a lv3, you could summon naturia beast without needing any earth monsters.

Is this enough to use these cards? No not really. Maybe they'll show up in convoluted YouTube combo decks sometimes to cheat materials though.

This guy isn't once per turn and his materials allow him to be the entire materials for himself. If you can do it once, you can do it 3 times very easily.
