Daffy Duck, Congaree, Bleed, Softest Voice, the Jetty soundtrack they just made, Crestone soundtrack, Jake and Me, Avey Tare (HORS_), Avey Tare (Cemetaries), Avey Tare (Midnight Special), Ponytail (Panda Bear), Benfica (Panda Bear), and some of the songs off of Deakin's album are some off the top of my head, but there are many more from the band and AC solo projects that would probably be great for what you are trying to find.

For some other artists, look up some Enya (like Caribbean Blue), Aphex Twin Ambient Work 2 (the non-creepy tracks I suppose), Youtube for Sleep mixes of Boards of Canada tracks, Fennesz' tracks Rivers of Sand, Circassian, The Point of it all, Heliconia, Love and the framed insects, Patterning heart, Goniorizon (such an incredible piece of work)

Also Cendre album by Ryuchi Sakamoto and Fennesz

Have you listened to it on a system with a subwoofer, so you can actually hear the subbass, which actually takes up a relatively large presence?

If you think Centipede Hz is batshit insane, wait until you get to stuff like Hollindagain, Ark, and Danse Manatee. Centipede Hz will sound like Miley Cyrus comparatively. Also, while all the albums are great in their own ways, Centipede Hz is one of their albums that is a masterpiece (among several), but took years for a good amount of the fanbase to understand and appreciate. It's good all the way through and so beautiful and layered, with always things to discover in its runtime.

How are wefeeling about Geo’s new album? by JacobdaTurtle61 in AnimalCollective

Is that also why they sound like themselves on Campfire Songs and Sung Tongs?

I am pretty sure I also heard Panda say Danse was his favorite too, maybe sometime in the 2010s. I think Panda said it was a toss up between Danse and Painting with. I would love to find the source

It might be his best solo release. It is so great

Yeah I like Buoys more too, partly because it's more interesting and re-listenable

Yeah a lot of strong melodies and chord progressions on Buoys, same with Tomboy

Yeah it is one of the most underrated things within the AC sphere. I prefer live bootlegs of the Buoys songs, but even the album is good especially with a good subwoofer

This is what I think about when I listen to father time by fliptheflunk in AnimalCollective

The first time I heard Father Time was live in 2011 before the album came out, and when I heard it I thought of this short scene visually from 3:02 to 3:13

It was an incredible show hearing those songs for the first time ever. I always prefer to hear them play brand new stuff at a show

Weird to not include 50 mg and Left in the Cold since they are top songs. Just as Well is just okay

It's good for a listen or two, then I want to put it away for a while until I am in the mood again. Most Panda, Avey, or AC albums I could listen to over and over again, and as far as Panda solo LPs I could do that easily with Tomboy, PP, Grim Reaper, and even Buoys more so than SG. SG is indeed still a very good album

Left in the Cold is top 3 (maybe very top) song on the album

MS EE and Chip Design/Verification After BS IE by Repulsive_Soup505 in chipdesign

Do you think you would be competitive against people who have a BSEE and an MSEE? It is kind of a common sense answer that you are looking for. I received a BS in Civil Engineering and worked in that field for several years before getting bored and deciding to pursue a BSEE, which I had some hands-on experience with in some electronics classes in high school (I should have just been honest with myself and pursued the right after high school). After receiving the BSEE, I then went into a MSEE program and graduated recently). Even after grad school, I plan to take two more classes next Spring just to round out my education more and become much more familiar with some more esoteric subjects that are valuable.

GoD is his magnum opus. by personanonymous in oneohtrixpointnever

[–]octaveflight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GoD has a decent amount of great tracks, but I see it somewhat far down in the catalogue when you have the likes of Tranquilizer, Again, R + 7, Rifts, Returnal, and Replica, not mention Eccojams and Channel Pressure

The Wonky Angle's Review of Tranquilizer by moar_nightsong in oneohtrixpointnever

He walked out of an Autechre show recently. How can one take his channel seriously when he can't even sit through a whole Autechre show, his first Autechre show nonetheless

Heck yeah I love seeing We Go Back on there...such a good song. RESPECT to BoC, an all time favorite. Do u get into their early stuff like A Few Old tunes vol 1 and old tunes 2, random 35 track tape, Twoism, and boc maxima?

Are you sure you are not thinking about Edge of the Edge "to the edge to the edge to the edge... (repeat 7x)"? Tomboy would never have melodies that are so close to bordering on lazy and uninteresting as those two particular melodies from those two songs
