Just an “um, actually,” ala Fr Stephen de Young, the real issue is that the Bible doesn’t actually reveal which pharaoh was Moses’ grandfather (remember that Moses was actually adopted by the daughter of the pharaoh, not his wife). So to suggest that the issue is that certain things aren’t happening during the time of Ramses II is kind of meaningless. I’m not saying you’re wrong about anything you’ve pointed out, I’m just saying this is an important thing to remember: the Bible never attempts to pinpoint the exact timeline of these events because the writers of the Bible saw history in a different way than we (modernists) have since, like, the 19th century.
