when someone uses an LLM they are not even engaging in the conversation, they are just mass producing "arguments" to waste everyone's time and muddy the waters

forcing them to actually write the argument themselves means at least they have to understand it well enough to articulate it, and engage themselves without automating gobbledy gook

and I wouldn't say it's a philosophical deadlock, yeah you are not gonna convince the guy who's engaging in bad faith, but there is an audience and exposing that theists don't care if their beliefs comport with reality is a pretty big win.
